New metal ion complexes of ampicillin were synthesis by two steps, first by N-acylation with benzoyl chloride and sebacoyl chloride, In the second step, the prepared compounds were reacted with cupric ion to form Cucomplexes. FT-IR, 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, UV-visible, CHNO-S and a theoretical study was used to distinguish the prepared complexes. The biological efficacy of synthesis compound was found more active against the bacteria.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
