Physics is the most important branch of science, because it contains basic concepts that are also used in other branches of science. In this regard, students need to understand physics well. Instructional media is one way to simplify the process of teaching and learning physics as well as arouse students’ achievement. Instructional media has various forms, one of which is multimedia which is developed using information technology-based applications. Lectora Inspire is a multimedia development application that can be used by all groups. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the instructional media based on Lectora Inspire on student’s achievement. The method used is a pre-experimental design consisting of four steps, namely identification of needs, design and development, expert validation, and implementation. The implementation is carried out using the one-group pretest-posttest method in the students of class X IPA-2 MA Al-Asror. The instructional media used has a material feasibility level of 84% so that it gets a very decent category, the level of media feasibility given by the media validator is 80% with a feasible category. The normality test from Shapiro-Wilk method shows that the data is stated to be normal, it means the statistic that suitable to test the data is parametric statistis. T-test paired sample as one of the parametric statistics is choosen to get the significance level from the experiment. The result proves that instructional media based on Lectora Inspire is effective to increase students’ achievement.
The purpose of this research is to determine how much effectiveness rather than socialization, especially in terms of disaster which occurs because of tectonic activities. This relates to the location of Indonesia at the triple junction so it is prone to experiencing disasters due to tectonic activity. The alternative hypothesis (ha) states that there is a difference in understanding of tectonic disaster through socialization treatment. Research subjects were Indonesian students in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The method used is an experimental research method with a one group pretest and posttest strategy. The data obtained was analyzed in three ways which are normality test, product moment correlation test, and two party test. The normality test found that the distribution of data is normal with scale 0.007 for pretest and 0.353 for posttest based on Saphiro-Wilk test. The effectiveness is measured by t-test from SPSS. The result shows that the syg 2-tail is 0.000 which means that there is a significance in the research result. This makes the hypothesis can be accepted. The accepted hypothesis means that socialization is still a good way to make people understand about the disaster and make the chance of survival is getting higher.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
