Chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHzC12, CHCI3, CClc, CzHzCl2, CZHCl3 and CZCl4) are efficiently converted to HCI and COz over Pt/y-Alz03 catalysts on which a hydrocarbon fuel is being oxidised catalytically at about 450 "C: conversions generally exceed 95 % if the catalyst contains 0.8 % or more Pt. Conversions are almost independent of vapour pressure of chlorinated hydrocarbon, and are not strongly temperature dependent between 420 and 500 "C. Catalysts containing 0.2 and 0.5 % Pt give 32 k 2% and 68-75 % conversion with all six reactants at about 420 "C.
Bei Verwendung von konzentrierter Schwefelsäure als Katalysator wird Benzol von Cyclopropan zu n‐Propylbenzol (III), Isopropylbenzol (IV) und anderen polyalkylierten Derivaten . alkyliert.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
