RESUMO:A salinidade é um os principais fatores que compromete a atividade fotossintética das plantas pela diminuição da concentração de clorofilas e carotenoides, e a adubação nitrogenada pode ser considerada uma técnica capaz de reduzir estes efeitos. Neste sentido, estudou-se a influência de doses de nitrogênio sobre os pigmentos fotossintéticos de mudas de goiabeira Crioula irrigadas com águas de diferentes salinidades. O experimento foi desenvolvido em casa de vegetação do CCTA da UFCG com delineamento em blocos casualizados, em esquema fatorial 5 x 4, correspondente a cinco níveis de condutividade elétrica da água de irrigação (CEa): 0,3; 1,1; 1,9; 2,7 e 3,5 dS m -1 e quatro doses de nitrogênio (N ABSTRACT: Salinity is a major factor that compromises the photosynthetic activity of plants by reducing the concentration of chlorophylls and carotenoids, and nitrogen fertilization can be considered a technique capable of reducing these effects.
