Angular distributions of the elastic scattering in the range of 30-160 ~ OCM have been measured for the systems 15N+ 19F, 19F+ 160 and 19F+ 1sO at three energies, the highest being approximately 4 MeV above the Coulomb barrier. The large differences observed in the structure of the angular distributions at large angles are discussed considering elastic transfer, and the angular momentum balance for the possible direct surface reactions. The analysis yields a consistent description of the data in terms of elastic transfer.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
