The energy level schemes of 19208 and 192pt have been established on the basis of 7-~ coincidence studies using a dual parameter data collection system. Ge(Li) detectors were employed to study the gamma spectra produced in the E.C. and fl-decays of 192Ir to 192Os and ~92pt, respectively. Thirteen new transitions and three new levels at 1,146.95, 1,237.35 and 1,913.76keV are suggested. Relative intensities from singles measurements, branching ratios, a(K) and log ft values were calculated and multipolarities, spins and parities deduced. Comparisons are made with predictions of the Interacting Boson Model calculated on the basis of an 0(6) to SU(3) transition.
The energy level scheme of 124Te has been established on the basis of singles 7-spectra, and 7-7 coincidence measurements carried out using a dual parameter data collection system. Ge(Li) detectors were used to study the gamma spectra produced in the fl decay of ~24Sb. Eleven new transitions and two new energy levels are proposed. Relative intensities, branching ratios, c~(K) and logft values were calculated and multipolarities, spins and parities deduced. Comparisons are made with predictions of the Interacting Boson Model: in a first order perturbation approximation to the SU(5) limit, using the complete IBA-1 Hamiltonian, and in the 0(6) limit.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
