The influence of the molecular dynamics of solid polymers on the kinetics of chemical reactions is a fundamental characteristic of processes in the solid phase. The relationship between the kinetics in the solid polymers with supermolecular polymer structure and the effects inducing changes in the intensity of molecular motions and polymer structure such as orientational elongation, crystallization, compression, plastification, etc.Kinetic anomalies in the solid polymers such as the stepwise kinetics, anomalous values of activation energy, effect of low-molecular-weight products on free valency migration, relay migration of valency. The relationship between reactivity and polymer molecular physics in the case of anomalies in reaction kinetics and the physical mechanisms of this relationship were discussed.Studies of molecular dynamics in the solid polymers by spin probe and labels, and the correlation between the frequencies of molecular motion and the rate constants of radical reactions were presented.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
