A series of 1-(4-substituted phenyl)-1-alkyl-2-phenyl-3-morpholinopropanols (I) have been synthesized via the interaction of 4-substituted a-phenyl-b-morpholinopropiophenones with Grignard's reagents in ether. The antiinflammatory and analgesic (non-narcotic) properties of the synthesized compounds have been evaluated. The most pronounced analgesic (non-narcotic) activity was observed for aminopropanols with 1-isoalkyl (isopropyl, isobutyl, isoamyl) radicals. 361 0091-150X/05/3907-0361
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
