The technology of reconditioning and hardening of cylinders of reciprocating engines by means of iron-silicized carbon composite electrolyte coatings in a hydrodynamic field is developed. A mathematical description of the hydrodynamics of the suspension in an electrochemical system consisting of two coaxial cylinders, a reconditioned component, and a rotating anode that creates the centrifugal hydrodynamic field is given. The technological process of electrodeposition of Fe-SiC composites, the optimum parameters of the wear capacity, and the mechanical treatment are characterized. The equipment of a galvanizing room for composite coating electrodeposition is described.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
