Kasus malaria sampai saat ini masih menjadi masalah kesehatan di dunia termasuk indonesia. Provinsi Maluku Utara merupakan salah satu daerah endemis malaria di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan kelambu berinsektisida, penggunaan kawat kasa dengan kejadian malaria dikelurahan Sangaji. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan menggunakan desain penlitian cross sectional.Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Sampel diambil sebanyak 93 responden. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu Uji Chi Square dan Uji Fisher’s Extact. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan penggunaan kelambu dengan kejadian malaria (p= 0,935) dan ada hubungan antara penggunaan kawat kasa dengan kejadian malaria (p=0,002). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kawat kasa sangat berpengaruh terhadap kejadian Malaria.
Garbage is a common problem faced by a community or a city. Because almost all activities or activities carried out by the community produce waste. One of the waste problems in Palu City is Talise beach. The lack of trash cans and the lack of awareness and knowledge of traders about waste and its effects resulted in the scattering of garbage on Talise beach. The purpose of this community service is to provide campaigns to traders and provide trash bins. The service method used is surveys and conducting campaigns or counseling. The results of the community service show that there has been a change in traders in disposing of trash and the enthusiasm of the traders in utilizing the distributed trash cans
Implementation Of Hygiene And Sanitation At The Grand Dafam Bella Hotel Ternate Background, Grand Dafam Hotel is a 4-star hotel located in the city of Ternate, North Maluku. The existence of this hotel influences on increasing the number of tourists in Ternate because it is a 4-star hotel at an affordable price. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Hygiene and Sanitation at the Grand Dafam Bella Ternate Hotel. Methods: This research design uses observational design with descriptive methods. The sample of this study is the total population, namely environmental and building health, room/room health requirements, sanitation facilities, employees, and food and beverage services at the Grand Dafam Hotel, Ternate. Sampling uses a total sampling technique. Instruments such as observation sheets/inspection forms refer to minister of health regulation Number 80 of 1990 regarding hospitality sanitation requirements and the Director-General of PPM and PLP Decree No. 95 of 1991 concerning Assessment of Hotel Health Examinations. Results: The results showed that the five components studied all met the requirements by accumulation, but some things did not meet the requirements such as a non-permanent waste collection facility. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is the Hotel Grand Dafam Bella Ternate has implemented Sanitation and Hygiene properly.
Particulate Matter (PM) merupakan jenis polutan berbahaya dengan berbagai ukuran, yang dapat mengakibatkan tingginya kematian akibat pajanan polusi udara. Particulate Matter <2,5µm (PM2.5) atau yang disebut dengan fine particle merupakan salah satu jenis partikulat yang berukuran sangat kecil dan dapat menimbulkan berbagai penyakit. Apabila terhirup ke dalam tubuh dapat berpenetrasi ke dalam saluran pernapasan bawah serta dapat melewati aliran darah. Asap yang dihasilkan oleh pembakaran tempurung kelapa di lingkungan pengasapan ikan merupakan permasalahan yang ada di ruang pengasapan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis Efektifitas Alat Filtrasi Sederhana Dalam Menurunkan PM2.5 Dan PM10 Pada Rumah Pengasapan Ikan Di Kota Ternate. Rancang bangun penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimental dengan metode one group pra-post test design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di rumah pengasapan ikan Kota Ternate Provinsi Maluku Utara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh rumah pengasapan ikan di Kota Ternate. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunakan program statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai p value PM2.5 sebesar 0,048 dimana kurang dari batas kritis penelitian ( < 0,05), artinya bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara pengukuran PM2.5 sebelum dan sesudah yang artinya alat filtrasi sederhana dengan berbahan dasar pelepah pisang efektif dalam menurunkan PM2.5. Nilai p values PM10 = 0,042 lebih kecil dari < 0,05, artinya bahwa ada perbedaan antara hasil sebelum dan sesudah pengukuran untuk variabel PM10 di rumah pengasapan ikan di Kota Ternate. Monday, July 13th, 2020, Flash floods and landslides have hit the Masamba area, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. The large number of victims and urgent needs and in order to ease the burden on the victims, the Academic Community of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu initiated a community service program in Masamba Regency. The purpose of this community service is to show the real action of the social care of the entire Civitas Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu to every disaster that occurs. The Humanitarian Aid Team of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu consists of 15 lecturers, staff and students of the Poltekkes Kemenkes palu. The method of implementing this service has four stages including planning to find funds, purchasing the needs of disaster victims, distributing assistance and the last stage, namely meeting the needs of victims. The aid was handed over by the Director of Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu, Palu through the Head of the Center for Research and Community Service to the Head of Disaster Prevention and Management Agency at the Emergency Response Command Post for Flash Floods and Landslides, North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province on July 21, 2020 at the Central Disaster Management Command Post. Masamba Regency, East Luwu, South Sulawesi. The provision of Humanitarian Aid can be carried out properly. Communities victims of Flash floods as beneficiaries have received the assistance. It is recommended for this activity more team members so that the distribution of aid is wider and provides more opportunities for students to get directly involved in humanitarian activities
