In 2018 the central government strove for the provinces of West Java to be certified as Halal tourism areas at the international level. To achieve these targets, they required a development model for halal tourism in West Java. The purpose of this study is to explore the development of halal tourism in West Java by using problem and solution models. The method used is a mixture of qualitative and quantitative research using the Analytical Networking Process (ANP). The results of this study indicate that halal tourism in West Java faces a number of problems, which can broadly be grouped in the following categories: Government; Society; Hotels, Travel, and Halal Food. The main problem from the aspect of government is the rules of implementation, from the aspect of society is knowledge, and from the aspect of hotels, travel, and halal food is halal food. The solution to the problem of developing halal tourism in West Java is divided into 3 solutions. The main solution from the aspect of government is infrastructure, from the aspect of society is knowledge, and from the aspect of hotels, travel, and halal food is halal food. This study aims to determine the effect of customer value on referring interest through brand images. In addition, this study is also to determine whether brand image mediates the effect of customer value and brand image on referring interest. The population of this research is students of various study programs at YARSI University. The research was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 120 students from various study programs in YARSI University. The analytical tool used is path analysis. The results showed that customer value has a positive and significant effect on referring interest. The results also show that brand image mediates the influence of customer value on the interest in referring students at YARSI University
This study examined the effect of professional commitment and spirituality-based motivation on lecturer performance. The survey method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 50 lecturers of YARSI University. The results showed that spirituality-based motivation had a positive and significant effect on professional commitment, spirituality-based motivation had a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance, and professional commitment had a positive and significant effect. Professional commitment mediates spirituality-based motivation on the performance of lecturers at YARSI University. The implications of this research are to develop professionalism in a sustainable manner by carrying out reflective and communication actions to develop the profession and apply it in the teaching and learning process as a form of good performance or self-performance. This research contributes to improving the performance of lecturers who are relevant to their respective fields so that students can obtain additional knowledge and skills to improve the quality of their education
