The logic of talking about rules of thought so that these rules can draw correct conclusions, but in reality in everyday life many things are found that cannot be stated that something is absolutely true or absolutely false. This study aims to explain that the philosophy of fuzzy logic is the basis for decision making based on IF-THEN rules. Related to the role of philosophy of science as the basis for the development of fuzzy logic, it cannot be separated from ontology, epistemology and axiology. The findings of this study are Ontology covering decision making and rules for decision making. Decision making is an election based on certain criteria for two or more possible alternatives while decision making rules are fuzzy rules in the form of IF-THEN. While epistemology of fuzzy logic is related to how the process to get output, how are the stages to take decisions. The process of getting output consists of fuzzification and inference. The output obtained by the Z ∗ value of 38541.67 and the rule-based fuzzy logic axiology in giving restaurant waiter tips is useful to be able to determine the total cash of tips that will be given to the restaurant waiter. The total cash of appropriate tips given based on service and food to the restaurant waiter is Rp.38.541.
<p>Being an outstanding student has criteria according to the awarding institution. There are special requirements that must be met by the participants of outstanding student selection. The assessment component in STMIK Pelita Nusantara is the cumulative Achievement Index (GPA), scientific writing, superior performance / abilities, foreign language skills, and personality. Decision support systems (DSS) are part of computer-based information systems including knowledge-based systems or knowledge management that are used to support decision making in an organization or company. The determination of outstanding students includes unstructured problems because they have different criteria. With the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, a criterion will be compared to other criteria in terms of how important it is to achieving goals with other criteria. The results of the assessment weight are two, namely achievement and not achieving. Of the 10 students who were categorized as achievers, after the application of the AHP calculation, Anas Prasetyo obtained it Value = 2.76 and Ari Kurniawan = 2.57. Students are in the category of Achievement.</p>
This research is the design of a decision support system (DSS) to determine the student as scholarship awardees of the STMIK Pelita Nusantara, Medan, Indonesia, with the approach of Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) with TOPSIS method. The FMADM is implemented in the system by specifying the values of the weights for each of the criteria or attributes. Whilst, TOPSIS method is used for making the final decision of the scholarship awardees. Both methods are implemented in a decision support application system that indicates the interaction between users and the software interface. The application is designed by using Visual Basic 2008. This research formulates an application in selecting the scholarship awardee using Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) approach and TOPSIS method. By using this application, the result and information related to determining the student who should be granted the scholarship can be done more quickly, rightly and accurately. Penerapan sistem pendukung keputusan dapat menunjukkan interaksi pengguna dengan aplikasi perangkat lunak yang dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Basic 2008 Visual. Kesimpulan hasil yang diperoleh dari diskusi menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan dengan FMADM TOPSIS memberikan hasil perhitungan akhir nilai memerintahkan yang dapat membantu pengambil keputusan menentukan siswa layak beasiswa. Adanya sistem pendukung keputusan yang telah dirancang sehingga proses penentuan penerima beasiswa mahasiswa lebih akurat, cepat, dan akurat.
The pandemic has caused the economy to decline drastically, even many residents have lost their sources of livelihoods. The government directly disbursed funds in the form of Direct Cash Assistance. The problem that arose was the suspicion of injustice for the villagers who received BLT. There is a need for a transparent system to inform the criteria for BLT recipients. The more criteria for poor and vulnerable families that were met, the priority for BLT village fund recipients. BLT priority assessment based on the aspect of the criteria that apply by law is implemented using PhpMyadmin. The development of a web-based information system made it easier to inform villagers of the names of BLT priority recipients based on the reasons that had been collected and then ranked. The resulting system helps employees of the Pagar Jati Village office to inform BLT recipients in a technological system built with the water fall method including data collection, problem analysis, design, testing and system evaluation. Pemerintah secara langsung mengucurkan dana dalam bentuk Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT). Permasalahan yang timbul yaitu kecurigaan adanya ketidakadilan bagi warga desa penerima BLT. Perlu adanya sistem yang transparan menginformasikan kriteria penerima BLT. Semakin banyak kriteria keluarga miskin dan rentan yang dipenuhi, menjadi prioritas penerima BLT dana desa. Penilaian prioritas BLT berdasarkan aspek kriteria yang berlaku secara undang-undang diimplementasikan menggunakan PhpMyadmin. Pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web mempermudah menginformasikan pada warga desa nama-nama penerima prioritas BLT berdasarkan alasan-alasan yang sudah dikumpulkan lalu diranking. Sistem yang dihasilkan membantu pegawai kantor Desa Pagar Jati menginformasikan penerima BLT secara sistem teknologi yang dibangun dengan metode water fall meliputi pengumpulan data, analisa permasalahan, perancangan, pengujian dan evaluasi sistem. Terbatasnya bantuan dana dari pemerintah untuk perbaikan fasilitas pembangunan jalan umum di desa-desa, maka pemerintah desa sebagai penyelenggara pembangunan jalan mempunyai kewajiban untuk memprioritaskan pembangunan jalan secara berkala dalam rangka mempertahankan tingkat pelayanan jalan sesuai dengan standar pelayanan minimal yang ditetapkan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat System Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk membantu pemerintah desa untuk menentukan prioritas pembangunan jalan umum di desa Pagagan Julu VII. Kriteria prioritas pembangunan jalan umum adalah kondisi jalan, jumlah penduduk, jarak terhadap pusat perekonomian, Jarak terhadap pusat pendidikan dan panjang jalan yang akan diperbaiki.Sistem dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman Visual Bacic 2010 dan menerapkan metode Weighted Product (WP) untuk menentukan prioritas pembangunan jalan umum.Hasil dari penelitian adalah sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat menentukan prioritas pembangunan jalan umum. Implementasi sistem menunjukkan dari delapan (8) dusun yang terdapat pada desa Pagagan Julu VII, jalan umum di DesaTanggiang merupakan prioritas pembangunan jalan umum.
