O foco deste trabalho é apresentar uma investigação de artigos que se referem à estética na Educação/Ensino de Química. Um argumento para que haja a inclusão da estética nos cursos de ciências é o aperfeiçoamento da percepção que ela possibilita, contribuindo para experiências estéticas que valorizem os sentidos e não somente o agreguem ao cognitivo do aluno. Pesquisamos artigos em periódicos com escopo em Ensino/Educação química que obtinham em seu título, resumo ou palavras-chave os termos “Artes e/ou Estética”. Tomamos como pergunta de pesquisa “Como se mostra a arte/estética no Ensino de Química/Educação Química?”. Utilizamos a análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), que é uma metodologia de análise qualitativa fenomenológica e hermenêutica. Assim organizamos possíveis respostas para a pergunta de pesquisa em três categorias finais. A primeira categoria intermediária trata a arte/estética na Educação Química como uma ferramenta que propicia a interdisciplinaridade, a contextualização sócio-histórica e a abordagem CTS no Ensino de Química/Ciências, no entanto, trazemos a visão fenomenológica desta abordagem. A segunda categoria traz as relações entre estética e educação, Ciência/Química como agentes potenciais para encaminhar o cientista para sua ampliação de mundo, apresentamos então que isto torna possível se haver uma ótica estética por parte do cientista nestas relações. A terceira categoria intermediária trata do termo ampliação do mundo dos alunos, mostramos que a estética articulada no ensino de Química e/ou Ciência é importante para a expansão de entendimento e ampliação da visão de mundo.
