HAL is a multi-disciplinary open access archive for the deposit and dissemination of scientific research documents, whether they are published or not. The documents may come from teaching and research institutions in France or abroad, or from public or private research centers. Le décret de 1976 relatif aux conditions d’entrée et de séjour des familles d’étrangers résidant régulièrement en France ne fait qu’officialiser des procédures administratives apparues dans les années 1920 et qui se renforcent progressivement après-guerre. Mais ce cadre juridique ne s’applique pas aux familles algériennes qui, du fait de l’héritage colonial, bénéficient d’un régime dérogatoire censé les favoriser. Mais est-ce bien le cas ?
C’est en 1971 que les derniers bidonvilles de Nanterre ont été détruits. Bien qu’il s’agisse de l’un des plus importants lieux de mémoire de l’immigration maghrébine en région parisienne, les circonstances dans lesquelles ils ont disparu sont encore mal connues. Si leur destruction a été médiatisée, les protestations des habitants face aux conditions de relogement qu’on leur a imposées, n’ont, elles, laissé que peu de traces.
