Financial Inclusion is eminent for sustained growth in South Asia. This study is an attempt to measure and comparatively analyze the levels of financial inclusion in South Asian countries. On the basis of eighty-nine parameters, it is found that the situation of financial inclusion in South Asia is modest as compared to other regions of the world. The usage of banking services, use of debit and credit cards, bank-borrowing, deposit of savings is at low levels. The use of e-banking is also extremely low; however, the mobile-banking is picking up. The gender bias is high in most of the countries as there are more male users as compared to female users. Many initiatives are being taken to promote financial inclusion and the situation has also improved data-wise, but there is still is a long way to go. This study is distinguished in providing a comparative picture of South Asian countries.
Entrepreneurship education is believed to provide students with understanding of concepts of entrepreneurship, train and motivate them to indulge into entrepreneurial activities in future. This is an empirical study to explore the entrepreneurship education in engineering discipline from the perspective of students. The study also attempts to unearth the factors that motivate them to take entrepreneurial activities and their perceived hurdles. Data about the opinion of students regarding entrepreneurship education has been collected from 168 students. The data has been analyzed using various statistical tools. It is found that the students are highly interested in starting their own business. They consider that decision making skills, risk taking capacity, creativity, communication skills and ability to prepare business plan are the most important skills for a successful entrepreneur. They feel motivated to start their own business because of intrinsic factors like being their own boss, chasing their dreams. Lack of experience and lack of funds are the most deterring factors.

Entrepreneurship education programs are commonly offered in business schools, but recently, the educationists have started recognizing the need for such programs in engineering education. This chapter is targeted to empirically explore the suitability of entrepreneurship education in engineering curriculum from the perspective of students. The study attempts to unearth the levels of willingness of engineering students to take entrepreneurial activities and investigate the factors that motivate them and the factors that deter them to go for entrepreneurship. The analysis revealed that the students are highly interested in taking entrepreneurship as a career option because of some intrinsic motivating factors such as being their own boss, chasing their dreams. They consider decision-making skills, risk-taking capacity, creativity, communication skills, and ability to prepare business plan are the most important skills. However, lack of experience and funds deter them. The right kind of entrepreneurship education programs can promote more entrepreneurial activities among the engineering students.
