This study aims to know the variety of errors, the most typical error and the least typical error on grammar writing for the grade students in the state of junior high school 5 Setu, and also to make teaching and learning activities more effective and efficient. This research is descriptive research method. The research instrument in this research is writing task. Writer uses the questioners to collect the data. Students answer the questions and from the answers’ students are arranged to be paragraph. The discussion of the errors are frequently occurred in the students’ English writing capitalization have the high percentage 12.93%, punctuation 12.93%, spelling form 12.50%, word form 11.21%, singular-plural 10.34%, article 9.48%, present tense 8.62%, added word 8.62%, word choice 7.33%, preposition 4.31%, and omission 1.72%. By studying the percentage of the error analysis on English writing skill, the writer found the ability of the students in writing skill was neither too low nor too high. The most typical error is on capitalization (12.93%) and the least typical error is on omission (1.72%)
In this research the author used Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory which discusses a person's behavioral personality and Suseno's moral theory. The main discussion in this research is to focus on the personality of the Id, Ego and Superego as well as the moral values contained in the characterization of Olivia Pullman. The purpose of this research is to describe the character of Olivia Pullman in terms of literary psychology and to describe the moral values contained in the characterization of Olivia Pullman. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of excerpts of dialogues between characters in the movie. The results of the analysis show that the superego personality is more dominant because Olivia Pullman's character is not only concerned with her own desires but also cares about the feelings of others. Therefore, the moral value that is more dominant in the characterization of Olivia Pullman is the moral value of independence which is shown through Olivia Pullman's daily life who is always alone because her best friend left her and lack of attention from her parents.
This thesis attempts to analyze in the movie Zootopia directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore. The study is based on two research questions, first about kind of moral values and second about the effects of moral values through the main character. The methodology of the study is descriptive qualitative. It means that it does not need statistic approach to explore the material. The primary data is taken from the original movie itself and script from Zootopia movie. The secondary data is taken from many journals, literary books and some relevant materials to support and complete the primary data sources. The result shows that there are ten types of kind of moral values which the writers found by in the script of the movie Zootopia. They are brave, respect, kind and friendly, confidence, loyalty, self-discipline, fair and human, love and affection, honesty and sensitive and not selfish. Then, the effects of moral values that reflected through the main character are optimistic, brave, ambitious, caring, and enthusiastic. The writers hope that movie lovers can see the positive aspect and take it to imply their life
This study aims to check out the effect of vocabulary mastery toward the reading comprehension skill in the State of Junior High School in Bekasi District. The method used in this research is expose facto with the correlation and regression analysis that is connecting between data showing the level vocabulary mastery toward the reading comprehension skill of students in the State of Junior High School in Bekasi District. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. The respondents are 80 students in this research. The research instruments were the test questions with multiple choice forms. The result showed that there is a significant influence of vocabulary mastery toward the reading comprehension skill of English Language on students Grade VIII in the State of Junior High School in Bekasi District. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig value. 0.003 <0.05 and th = 3.019. Variable vocabulary mastery contributed 13.86% in improving the reading comprehension skill
Internasionalisasi bahasa Indonesia memberikan dampak positif terhadap munculnya peluang menjadi pegiat dan pengajar bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA). Peluang dan potensi ini menjadi sebuah daya tarik tersendiri, hanya saja masih terdapat tanda tanya besar terkait apa itu BIPA, apa yang harus disiapkan, dan apa yang harus dilakukan untuk mengambil peluang tersebut. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk memberikan informasi tentang BIPA, memberikan gambaran tentang peluang-peluang apa saja yang muncul, bagaimana menjadi pegiat dan pengajar BIPA, dan berbagai tantangan yang akan dihadapi. Kegiatan yang diikuti oleh 98 peserta dari berbagai kalangan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk seminar dalam jaringan (daring) dengan pemaparan makalah dan pengalaman dari pemateri diikuti dengan sesi diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif. Peserta terlibat secara aktif dalam sesi diskusi. Umpan balik yang diberikan peserta setelah selesai acara menggambarkan mereka termotivasi untuk ingin lebih tahu lagi tentang BIPA. Mereka juga berharap STIBA IEC dapat melakukan lokakarya BIPA dasar untuk program kegiatan selanjutnya. Informasi tentang BIPA yang diberikan dapat memberikan stimulus dan informasi yang tepat bagi masyarakat luas.
