This research aims to determine the effect of several doses of liquid organic fertilizer of tomatoes on the growth of cocoa nurseries. Cocoa nurseries need nutrients that support the growth of cocoa seedlings. Liquid organic fertilizer of tomatoes contains the nutrients needed for the growth of cocoa seedlings. This research method was carried out experimentally with 6 treatments of POC doses of a mixture of tomato extract, coconut water, and rice water, with 4 replications. he results of the study, it was explained that giving a dose of 25 ml of POC mixed with tomato extract, coconut water and ricE water/ 100 ml of water had a good effect on the growth and development of cocoa seedlings for the character of seedling height, number of leaves and leaf length. Furthermore, for the character of stem diameter, no significant effect was seen on the increased in stem diameter of cocoa seedlings. To overcome this, it is necessary to increased the dose of fertilizer or add other organic materials that can increases the diameter of the cacao seedlings.
Organic fertilizers can be used in cauliflower cultivation as liquid organic fertilizer from Paitan. Paitan is a weed with organic matter and nutrients that can increase soil and plant fertility. The response of growth and production of cauliflower was examined with different doses of paitan liquid organic fertilizer. The randomized block design in this research is five groups with five treatments and then tested applying the Duncan New Multiple Range Test at a significance level of 5 % and 1 % utilizing SAS. Paitan liquid organic fertilizer doses given include treatment 20 ml, 40 ml, 60 ml, and 80 ml paitan/plants. Parameters observed on cauliflower were plant height, amount of leaf, leaf width, flower diameter, flower production weight, and flower weight. The findings of the research indicated no significant effect of liquid organic fertilizer on cauliflower plant height, the amount of leaf, leaf width, and flower diameter. The best impact of this research on cauliflower is the weight of flower production and flower weight treatment doses of 80 ml paitan liquid organic fertilizer.
Kelompok tani ternak Sapakek Basamo merupakan kelompok tani ternak yang bergerak di peternakan dan budidaya tanaman pembibitan, dan sayuran. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok mitra selama ini adalah budidaya tanaman masih menggunakan pupuk anorganik dan masih minim dalam penggunaan bahan organik untuk budidaya tanaman. Selanjutnya, urine sapi, sampah organik dan gulma yang tumbuh liar tidak termanfaatkan untuk diolah menjadi sumber energi alternatif pupuk organik. Solusi yang akan diterapkan untuk mengatasi masalah mitra ini adalah melakukan aplikasi pupuk organik cair dari gulma babadotan dan paitan diolah dan dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik cair dan kompos. Tingginya ketersediaan urine sapi, sampah organik serta gulma babadotan dan paitan ini, maka kami dari tim pengabdian melakukan penerapan pupuk organik cair dari ketiga bahan utama ini sehingga dapat menurunkan pengunaan pupuk anorganik dalam meningkatkan kecukupan hara dan bahan organik pada tanaman sesuai dengan kebutuhan mitra. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini, kami menggunakan metode penyuluhan tentang pemanfaatan urine sapi, sampah organik dan gulma dan praktek pembuatan pupuk organik cair yang bersumber dari gulma babadotan langsung ke lokasi mitra. Kelompok tani akan dilatih dalam pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari gulma babadotan sebagai alternatif pupuk untuk peningkatan pertumbuhan tanaman pada tanaman pekarangan.
