Plant disease is the physiological process that causes them to become abnormal. Plant diseases attack vegetative organs in the form of roots, stems, and leaves or generative organs of these plants. Plants become sick due to fungi, bacteria, or viruses that cause many symptoms of disease in plants, such as yellow spots, infection, and nitrogen deficiency (N). The purpose of this case study was to determine the severity of disease on gourds leaves (Lagenaria siceraria), bitter melon leaves (Momordica charantia), cassava leaves (Manihot esculenta), purple eggplant leaves (Solanum melongena), and terung pipit leaves (Solanum torvum) by using the Plantix software and ImageJ software methode. Based on the results of this case study, it was found that the severity of disease using ImageJ software on gourds leaves (4.56%), bitter melon leaves (1.93%), cassava leaves (8.49%), purple eggplant leaves (49.45%) and terung pipit leaves (14.88%) which are generally food crops are caused by viruses and fungiand based on the results of the Plantix software data, the causes of gourds leaves, bitter melon leaves, cassava leaves, purple eggplant leaves and terung pipit leaves respectively are caused by downy mildew, fungus, whitefly, leaf spot algae and leafhoppers.
Context: Using stem cells in the medical field as a regenerative therapy to repair damaged tissue is popular nowadays. Honey contains antioxidant activity, minerals, sugars, and other ingredients supporting wound healing and mature tissue regeneration. However, using honey to induce stem cell proliferation still lacks studies. In this review, we would like to do a systematic review to confirm the effectiveness of honey bees towards stem cell proliferation in both in vitro and in vivo treatment. Objectives: This study used all previous studies that included honey bees and stem cells in both in vitro and in vivo treatments. The search was performed on July 30th – 31st, 2021, and obtained 21 articles, of which 16 were excluded and the rest were screened. One screened literature was out of the limit; thus, five articles matched the terms. Relevant studies were retrieved from PubMed and the Cochrane Library. Data Methods: According to in vitro studies, honey of Trigona spp. increases the proliferation rate of dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs). Honey is effective for wound healing and stem cell regeneration. Meanwhile, in vivo studies showed honey increases the regeneration of malnutrition ovary failure. Results: According to in vitro studies, honey of Trigona spp. increases the proliferation rate of DPSCs. Honey is effective for wound healing and stem cell regeneration. Meanwhile, in vivo studies showed honey increases the regeneration of malnutrition ovary failure Conclusions: In conclusion, honey positively affects stem cell proliferation and can be used to supplement stem cells.
Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam bidang kedokteran (salah satunya adalah transplantasi), telah membawa pengaruh yang sangat positif dalam kehidupan manusia, Teknik transplantasi organ dirintis oleh Carrel, yang melakukan transplantasi ginjal anjing pada tahun 1896. Hukum mendermakan atau mendonorkan organ tubuhnya ketika masih hidup, ada yang mengatakan bahwa itu diperbolehkan apabila itu miliknya. Tetapi, apakah seseorang itu memiliki tubuhnya sendiri sehingga ia dapat mempergunakannya sekehendak hatinya, misalnya dengan mendonorkannya atau lainnya? Syekh As-Sa’di, tentang transplantasi organ tubuh manusia, mengatakan bahwa, segala masalah yang terjadi dalam setiap waktu, maka jenis dan bentuknya harus dilihat terlebih dahulu. Jika hakikat dan sifatnya telah diketahui, serta manusia bisa mengetahui jenis, alasan, dan hasilnya dengan sempurna, maka masalah tersebut dapat dirujuk ke dalam teks-teks syari’at. Karena, syari’at selalu memberikan solusi bagi seluruh masalah, baik masalah sosial, individu, global, dan partikular. Syari’at memberikan solusi yang bisa diterima oleh akal dan fitrah. Orang harus melihat hal tersebut dari sisi faktor, realita, dan syari’at. Dalam permasalahan ini kita harus bersikap netral, hingga tampak bagi kita dengan sempurna untuk memastikan salah satu di antara dua pendapat, kita bisa bersikap secara tepat terhadap orang-orang yang mengeluarkan pendapatnya tentang masalah ini. Di antaranya ada yang berpendapat tidak boleh, dan ada juga yang membolehkan. Karena, pada dasar manusia tidak memiliki hak terhadap badannya untuk merusak, memotong, atau menduplikatnya untuk orang lain. Mendonorkan organ tubuh itu harus sesuai dengan syari’at, dengan syarat bahwa pendonoran itu dapat menyelamatkan yang didonor (resipien) dari kematian dan tidak menyebabkan pendonornya mati atau menderita sakit parah hingga mati
