This study aimed to fill the literature gap on companies’ characteristics, focusing on the effects of entrepreneurs and business characteristics on the companies’ income. The companies chosen are the ones in the leading subsector, particularly the case in Java. This study also analyzed which characteristics of entrepreneurs and businesses affected income in the creative industry. The method used in this study was multiple linear regression and standardized beta test, with cross-sectional data taken from the specific survey in creative economy issued by BPS and BEKRAF in 2016. The unit of analysis comprises 822 companies in the leading subsector of the creative industry in Java. The results showed that all of the characteristics of entrepreneurs and businesses had significant and positive effects on the company’s income. The factors that affected company income are Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) ownerships and the business’s legal status. The primary factor affecting the income was the number of workers. Meanwhile, for each provincial level in Java, it showed that the number of workers, internet use, and the ownerships of IPR had significant and positive effects, while the IPR ownerships had a substantial magnitude in four provincial levels in Java.
Representation of a finite group G over generator linear non singular mxm matrix with entries of field K defined by group homomorphism A : G → GL m (K) Basically, the non singular mxm matrix A(x) which representing the finite group G divided into two, that are the unitary matrix and non unitary matrix. If A(x) is a non unitary matrix, then there exist a unitary matrix which similar to A(x). This research deals to analyze the numbers of one example of a unitary matrix representation over arbitrary finite group G with order n that is permutation matrix, and the number of unitary matrix which is similar to real non unitary matrix representation of arbitrary finite group G order 2. The results showed the numbers of permutation matrix representation is n! and unitary matrix which is similar to non unitary matrix representation is 2.
This study aims to analyze the potential of molasses wastewater as a production medium for the Bacillus cereus SN7 and B. cereus consortium. The research was conducted experimentally using several B. cereus strains such as B. cereus SN7, B. cereus SP4, B. cereus S5, B. cereus Xmb051, and B. cereus BF2. The Analysis of the potential of molasses wastewater as a production medium was carried out by growing the B. cereus SN7 and B. cereus consortium on molasses liquid waste medium with added liquid skim milk. In the comparison, the nutrient broth medium was used as a positive control, and sterile distilled water as a negative control. Bacterial growth measurements were carried out for 24 hours with different observations, sequentially, 0, 6, 12,18, and 24 hours and observed every six hours using the total plate count method. It can be shown that the highest cell biomass is 1,029 g/ml and the optimum growth time of each treatment is at 18th hours. Thus, the use of molasses as a bacterium medium can be used for the production of B. cereus SN7, and B. cereus consortium.
The goal of this research was to find the optimal media for growing B. cereus bacteria with various carbon sources. This study used an experimental method with two Bacillus cereus bacterium isolates, namely B. cereus strain SN7 (isolate N) and a consortium of bacteria isolates (a combination of several B. cereus isolates with different strains). The two isolates were grown in sago liquid waste media, tofu liquid waste media, and molasses liquid waste media supplemented with a protein source, skim milk, with three replications in each treatment. Bacterial culture growth was measured every 6 hours for 24 hours using two methods: the TPC method and bacterial cell biomass measurement. According to the results of this study's measurements, molasses waste media was the best modified medium for B.cereus growth. The difference in growth between the B. cereus strain SN7 bacterial isolates and the consortium cultured on molasses media was not significant. The isolates with the largest number of cell growth were B. cereus consortium isolates, with 2,023 x108 CFU/mL in the TPC method and 1,011 g/mL in the biomass measurement method at 24 hours
This study aims to determine whether character values can be instilled in students through the dawn education program. This study uses a combined method of qualitative and quantitative (explanatory mixed method design). Qualitative data sources were taken from four informants through in-depth interviews who were selected using purposive sampling. While quantitative data was taken to fifty-four students who were selected using simple random sampling technique. Interview data with informants were analyzed thematically using four steps (data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing). Furthermore, quantitative data were analyzed descriptively using SPSS 21. Overall, the results of the analysis of the two stages of this study showed that there were fifteen character values in the dawn education program for students. The fifteen character values are: i) religious, ii) discipline, iii) self-confidence, iv) hard work, v) cooperation, vi) responsibility, vii) honesty, viii) courtesy, ix) tolerance, x) independent, xi) curiosity, xii) friendly, xiii) peace-loving, xiv) environmental care, and xv) social care. The results of the study have also proven that dawn education activities can be well implemented for the character education of students.
