This study aims is to analyze the effect of work motivation on the satisfaction of management lecturers and analyze the effect of the work environment on the satisfaction of management lecturers at a private university in the city of Makassar. This type of research is explanatory research. The sample of this research is management lecturers at private universities in Makassar city, Data use purposive random sampling total 105 respondent. The research period was carried out in February 2020-May 2020. The method of analysis in this study was multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction. This study proves that both theoretically and previous empirical studies explain that increasing work motivation will increase the job satisfaction of lecturers at private universities in the city of Makassar. According to empirical studies, motivation from a financial perspective can encourage someone to do work. This factor has a more significant influence than the influence of motivation on lecturer job satisfaction. The universities and study programs must improve indicators in the work environment to create comfortable working conditions so that it will increase the job satisfaction of private university lecturers in the city of Makassar.
The research described is a quantitative study conducted at companies engaged in financing at the XYZ Finance branch office in Makassar City. The study aimed to investigate how education and work experience support the work ethic of employees in the financial sector, where work demands, workload, and stress are high. Education and work experience were used as independent variables, while work ethic was the dependent variable. A total of 61 respondents were selected through a simple random sampling technique, and data was collected using a questionnaire technique. The results of the study showed that work experience had a positive and partially significant effect on work ethic, while education had a partial and insignificant effect on work ethic. This finding is consistent with the idea that more experience in a particular field can lead to a better work ethic. However, it is important to note that the significance of education than work experience can vary depending on the specific field and industry. To ensure the validity and reliability of the study's results, the researchers conducted validity and reliability tests, as well as classical assumption tests in the form of normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Additionally, this research used multiple regression tests, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination to analyze the data. Overall, this research highlights the importance of work experience in developing a strong work ethic, particularly in high-stress industries such as the financial sector. However, it is also important to continue to prioritize education and training to ensure that employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in their career.
This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of transformational leadership style and job satisfaction on employees of PT. Mandiri Utama Finance Makassar City. The population in this study were PT Mandiri Utama Finance employees, totaling 225 employees. The total population used was 68 people which were determined based on the purposive sampling method. The data source used is primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents by distributing questionnaires to the object to be studied. The data analysis method that will be carried out consists of descriptive statistical analysis, validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and hypothesis testing through multiple linear regression analysis, t test, f test and coefficient of determination test. The results of this study, both partially and simultaneously, indicate that the transformational leadership style and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Mandiri Utama Finance Makassar City.
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengetahuan tentang literasi keuangan sebagai bekal yang sangat penting untuk mengembangkan usaha dan dalam rangka pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik, meningkatkan kualitas dan kompetensi masyarakat dalam mengembangkan dan memajukan desa, mengoptimalkan potensi desa. Memberikan pengetahuan tentang ekonomi kreatif berbasis sumber daya desa. Kegiatan pelatihan literasi keuangan dan ekonomi kreatif ini merupakan sarana peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat dan pelaku usaha, oleh karena itu diharapkan pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat dan menambah pengetahuan kepada masayarakat terkait dengan literasi keuangan dan penguatan ekonomi kreatif. Hasil wawancara dengan masyarakat Desa Tamangapa Kecamatan Ma’rang Kabupaten Pangkep bahwa pada umumnya beberapa masyarakat masih minim pengetahuan sehingga belum memahami literasi keuangan dan pengembangan memalui sumber daya desa. Metode pendekatan yang ditawarkan untuk mendukung kegiatan program pengabdian bagi masyarakat ini adalah metode partisipatif dimana mitra yang terlibat langsung dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari persiapan sampai terlaksananya kegiatan tersebut. Adapun bentuk kegiatannya adalah mengadakan pertemuan melalui diskusi tanya jawab, musyawarah, pelatihan.
Penurunan daya beli masyarakat akibat pandemi covid-19 berdampak ke penjualan UMKM. Untuk meningkatkan daya beli masyarakat agar mengefektifkan berbagai fungsi dalam manajemen keuangan dan manajemen pemasaran yang diharapkan agar UMKM dapat bertahan. Permasalahan yang muncul yaitu banyak UMKM khususnya di desa Tamangapa Kecamatan Ma’rang Kabupaten Pangkep yang belum memahami akan pentingnya manajemen keuangan dan manajemen pemasaran. Banyak UMKM yang belum melakukan adminstrasi dengan baik dan melakukan pemasaran secara tradisional. Padahal saat ini pemasaran digital merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi para pelaku UMKM untuk kelangsungan usahanya. metode yang akan dilakukan atas dasar permasalahan yang muncul yaitu dengan cara memberikan pelatihan serta pendampingan kepada para pelaku UMKM terkait manajemen keuangan dan manajemen pemasaran. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu agar pelaku UMKM lebih memahami dampak yang terjadi saat ini dan kedepannya, sehingga pelaku UMKM diharapkan mampu memanfaatkan peluang baik ini.
