Software Defined Network (SDN) is a new technology in computer network area which enables user to centralize control plane. The security issue is important in computer network to protect system from attackers. SYN flooding attack is one of Distributed Denial of Service attack methods which are popular to degrade availability of targeted service on Internet. There are many methods to protect system from attackers, i.e. firewall and IDS. Even though firewall is designed to protect network system, but it cannot mitigate DDoS attack well because it is not designed to do so. To improve performance of DDOS mitigation we utilize another mechanism by using SDN technology such as OpenFlow and sFlow. The methodology of sFlow to detect attacker is by capturing and sum cumulative traffic from each agent to send to sFlow collector to analyze. When sFlow collector detect some traffics as attacker, OpenFlow controller will modify the rule in OpenFlow table to mitigate attacks by blocking attack traffic. Hence, by combining sum cumulative traffic use sFlow and blocking traffic use OpenFlow we can detect and mitigate SYN flooding attack quickly and cheaply.
Semester Learning Plan (RPS) is a learning planning document prepared as a guide for lecturers and students in carrying out teaching and learning activities on campus for one semester. RPS was made to guide lecturers and students in the learning process so that the material taught is following the learning outcomes set by the study program. To meet and adjust the needs of graduate users and the development of science and technology, the RPS must be regularly reviewed and updated if there are changes in teaching materials that are no longer following current conditions. However, what often becomes a problem is that there is no documented process for changing the RPS content regarding the reasons and which parts have changed so that the RPS change process cannot be carried out at will and when audited there is a history of changing the data. Because of these problems, this research will design and build a web-based RPS management information system that can assist study programs in documenting RPS changes and making it easier for users to access the changed content. The system development method used in this study uses the waterfall method, and for its design using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The final result of this research is a web-based RPS management information system using the Codeigniter 4 framework which can make it easier for managers and users to obtain RPS information.
BKD atau Beban Kerja Dosen merupakan proses evaluasi setiap akhir semester untuk memeriksa dan menilai pelaksanaan tugas dosen apakah berjalan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah diatur dalam perundang-undangan atau tidak. Ruang lingkup penilaian terhadap pelaksanaan BKD meliputi aspek Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, yaitu pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang nantinya hasil dari penilaian tersebut perlu dibuat laporannya sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban kepada pihak institusi. Penilaian beban kerja dosen di internal Politeknik Enjinering Indorama dilakukan secara fisik tanpa menggunakan sistem sehingga proses seperti ini kurang efektif dan efisien dalam proses evaluasi dan penilaiannya. Selain dalam proses membuat laporan dan penilaian, yang sering menjadi kendala dalam pelaporan BKD adalah dalam proses pengumpulan file atau berkas bukti kegiatan yang sering tercecer dan bahkan lupa menyimpannya. Oleh karena itu untuk bisa menanggulangi permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan adanya sistem informasi BKD yang dapat membantu dan mempermudah proses pelaporan dan pengarsipan berkas BKD. Namun untuk bisa membangun sebuah sistem informasi BKD perlu di buat dulu sebuah perancangan sistemnya agar proses pembuatan sistem dapat sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang menjadi permasalahan. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini akan dibuat perancangan sistem informasi BKD berbasis web dengan metode yang digunakannya menggunakan UML.
Crime is one of the problems that is quite complicated and very disturbing to the community. Crimes can occur at different times and places, making it difficult to track which areas are prone to such actions. K-means algorithm is used to cluster prone areas and Geographic Information System is used to map crime-prone areas. Web-based application is developed with the PHP programming language. The data used is quantitative data in the form of the number of crimes committed and the coordinates of the cases. The attributes of the crime used consist of five parameters: theft, mistreatment, rape, women and child protection cases and fraud. The results of this study are clustering areas into 3 cluster and mapping prone areas that is safe area, safe enough area and prone area. From the overall crime data for 2019 in Purwakarta district, it was found that 68.75% was safe, 18.75% was quite safe and 12.5% was prone area.
AbstrakProses peminjaman barang untuk keperluan praktikum merupakan aktifitas yang rutin dilakukan. Pada umumnya peminjaman barang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa atau dosen kepada staf laboratorium dengan mengisi form peminjaman secara tertulis. Namun dalam proses peminjaman tersebut ada kalanya staf laboratorium kewalahan ketika proses peminjaman barang banyak sekali karena staf laboratorium harus mengecek keberadaan barang satu persatu secara manual. Oleh karena permasalahan tersebut maka pada penelitian ini akan didesain dan dibangun sistem informasi peminjaman barang berbasis web yang berfungsi untuk mempermudah staf laboratorium dalam pengelolaan data barang. Dengan sistem informasi peminjaman barang proses pengajuan peminjaman, persetujuan peminjaman, monitoring barang, dan pencarian status barang bisa dengan mudah dan cepat dilakukan. Metode pembangunan sistem yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Waterfall, dan untuk desain sistem menggunakan UML (Unified Modelling Languange). Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa sistem informasi peminjaman barang berbasis web dengan menggunakan framework Codeigniter 4 yang dapat mempermudah proses pengelolaan peminjaman barang.Kata kunci: sistem, informasi, peminjaman, Codeigniter, webAbstractThe borrowing process goods for practicum is a routine activity. Base on these problems, this research will develop a web-based information system for lending goods to facilitate laboratory staff in managing data of goods. With this information system for borrowing goods, the process of applying for loans, loan approval, monitoring of goods, and searching for the status of goods can be done easily and quickly.
