Comparative Legal Research (CLR) is a valuable tool for legal research because it expands the history of community experience. Understanding basic knowledge in different systems fills the knowledge gap. However, the principles of globalization and universal human rights require a greater role for systematic CLR. This article analyzes the role of comparative legal research in contemporary legal education. The discussion is based on the idea that it is useful to distinguish between the education of lawyers and the conduct of comparative legal research. Comparative law is a successful field of study that has ignited a growing interest in academic and legal education in recent decades. It is proposed to pay more attention to the comparative pedagogy of legal research in today's world, where law students must be prepared to function in a global context. While comparative academic research, the goal is to foster a deep cultural understanding of foreign law, but in legal education, the goal is to learn the spirit as an advocate. This article provides an overview of the key conceptual tools to tackle the problem of the comparative methodology by introducing the logical argument to help the researcher to filter his approach. A literature review method will adopt for this article.
Pakistan has ratified the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Child expressing therein that the right to freedom of religion incorporates that nobody ought to be compelled to change his religion. Pakistan’s constitution guarantees religious freedom to all minority communities in Pakistan. Forced conversion to Islam has become another type of rough fanaticism in Pakistan. Constrained transformation is the point at which an individual who uses pressure, power, intimidation, or danger to drive someone else to acknowledge another religion. It influences almost all minority groups in Pakistan, but the biggest victims are Hindu minor girls in Sindh province. It should be forbidden to pursue a position of power to entice vulnerable Hindu minor girls to convert under duress. As the criminal justice system in Pakistan is not addressing this issue effectively, legislation is urgently needed to protect vulnerable children. This article focuses on the need to promulgate a law providing forcible conversion of Hindu minor girls as a criminal offense. A literature review method is adopted for this paper.
Sex education for children does not imply that children are responsible for their own safety, but rather that children should be provided with protective, effective, and interactive education that builds resilience and reduces their vulnerability to sexual harm. As a result, it is critical to provide a secure atmosphere for children at school, where they spend the majority of their time. Sex education curriculum for the prevention of child sexual abuse will seek to give children the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and prevent probable sexual abuse scenarios. The primary school sex education curriculum will be founded on the ideology of empowering children and the concept that care is an integral aspect of child care and protection. The Ministry of Education should determine the need for sex education in primary schools to prevent sexual abuse of children, support it, and include it in the curriculum. This curriculum’s purpose should be to build and maintain a proactive environment that protects children by preventing sexual abuse or assuring early detection, intervention, and reporting.
Legal education is the method for preserving the rule of law, which is the fundamental premise upon which contemporary nations political and legal underpinnings are built. Legal thinking skills are one of the primary characteristics required of legal practitioners. It is also emphasized in legal education as a primary goal. In Pakistani law schools, the notion of legal reasoning is frequently addressed but rarely articulated. However, in Pakistani law schools, the actual teaching of a skills method approach to legal reasoning as a process and a concept has rarely been properly described. Legal reasoning is not included in the LLB curriculum, which is a fundamental flaw in the legal education system. Legal reasoning will provide law students with a skill that will help them to secure their careers and may be used in a variety of disciplines. This paper will argue that the existing LLB curriculum in Pakistan needs to be reformed and legal reasoning should be included as a subject.
