Screen printing is one of printing techniques. It has its own characteristic and uniqueness in the printing process, so it has customer likeability. Besides as printing media, screen printing is a media to promote and to gather creative ideas in reproduction printing technique. Communication could be understood as message, idea or information delivery process to other people that using specific facilities or equipment to influence or change the receiver’s behavior. T-Shirt as one message delivery media has important part in creative industry. Screen printing technique has different characteristic. T-Shirt as screen printing media is highly effective in supporting promotion and design work appreciation media.
<strong>Abstract</strong><br />The Using of Paper Waste on Visual Communication Design Subject’s Project at Bina Nusantara University. Waste accumulate and not proceeded properly can have a negative impact on the environment. This can be prevented by treating the waste into a product that is environmentally friendly, of better quality, and has a high selling price. Through the process of exploration of waste products that are not useful, it is expected<br />to provide several alternatives that can be applied into the form of design or artwork. The analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis method. The sample used is 30 materials of exploration work produced from the year 2016. This research contributes to the paper waste awareness of the students for using the paper waste on their tasks or campus projects. This research is the utilization of paper waste from the work of unused<br />tasks as pulp or recycled paper materials to reduce the impact of paper waste on the environment.<br /><br /><div> </div><div><strong>Abstrak</strong></div>Pemanfaatan Hasil Limbah Kertas pada Tugas Mata Kuliah Praktik Desain<br />Komunikasi Visual Universitas Bina Nusantara. Limbah yang menumpuk dan tidak diolah secara baik dapat memberikan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Hal ini dapat dicegah dengan mengolah limbah tersebut menjadi sebuah produk yang ramah Iingkungan, bermutu lebih baik, dan memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Melalui proses eksplorasi terhadap limbah produk yang tidak berguna, dîharapkan dapat memberikan beberapa alternatif yang dapat diaplikasikan menjadi bentuk desain ataupun karya<br />seni. Alat analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 30 materi karya eksplorasi yang dihasilkan mulai sejak tahun 2016. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kepedulian mahasiswa tentang pemanfaatan kembali kertas limbah untuk kepentingan<br />tugas di kampus. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan kertas bekas dari karya-karya tugas yang tidak terpakai sebagai bahan pulp atau kertas daur ulang untuk mengurangi dampak buruk limbah kertas terhadap lingkungan.<br /><br />
Some people see children who have behaviors and habits are unusual or out of the general habit. They are ostracized, even sometimes are considered strange, cannot socialize, have lives and have fun for theirselves, even worse they are considered abnormal. People sometimes see from the surface, passing judgment of the physical without investigating the cause of why it happened. Child with special needs, or autism, is one of them. Despite of its uniqueness, it turns out that children who have special needs have extraordinary ability, especially in terms of artistic creativity. Unique paintings and the ability to express feeling should be enhanced to take advantage of the ability of the child maximally, of course with the consistent help to find the child’s ability actually.
Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta, has serious problems with the increasing volume of waste in garbage collection sites The use of videos in an educational campaign in the Waste Bank program has become one of the means for the community to participate in the fight against waste, especially in Jakarta. This study aimed to determine the role of videography in educating audiences, especially millennials, about the Waste Bank on social media. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The result of the research was to create a video of the Waste Bank with persuasive and effective messages to be shared on social networks so they can be understood effectively. <p><strong>Abstract</strong><br />Sintang is a one of district, which is located in the province of West Kalimantan. The population is multiethnic and the majority is Dayak and Malay. Ikat woven fabric is one of the famous art works from Sintang. It is a one of Dayak ethnic heritage that has high artistic value in manual process work with certain rituals. Workshop program called “Design Clinic” had aims to assisting in a craftsman Ikat woven fabric to create ideas that based on residence and nature Sintang environment, and also apply the ideas to be<br />motif or pattern, which able to be applied to other applied products.
