This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Multi-Matobe learning strategy in enhancing elementary-school students' critical thinking skills. The research population was elementary school students in Salatiga, Indonesia. Using purposive sampling, 160 students were chosen as samples. The research has a Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Students' critical thinking skills are measured by a validated test containing real religious tolerance issues. Data were analyzed using Paired Samples t-test. The results showed that the integration of Multi-Matobe learning is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. The contribution of this research is that students can think critically and have a tolerance to face global competition by integrating the Multi-Matobe strategy in schools.
Fazlur Rahman menawarkan Neo-Modernisme Islam sebagai pendekatan baru terutama pada ranah pendidikan Islam. Neo-Modernisme merupakan suatu sistem penjelasan tentang kondisi umat Islam yang berbeda dengan modernisme, tradisionalisme, salafi, fundamentalisme, dan lain-lain. Bagi Rahman, sistem penjelasan baru sangat diperlukan, mengingat era modernisme, hubungan modernitas dengan Islam serta tradisionalisme dengan fundamentalisme, terdapat krisis. Fazlur Rahman memiliki pandangan bahwa pendidikan tinggi Islam yang disebut dengan intelektualisme Islam. Intelektualisme Islam ini, merupakan penggunaan ‘aql (intelektual, rasio), supaya memperoleh pengetahaun dan pembelajaran dari fenomena alam yang ditemukan dalam kehidupan. Intelektualisme Islam ini juga bisa dipahami bahwa seseorang yang bisa menafsirkan Islam dalam tema-tema rasional dan ilmiah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan suatu masyarakat modern yang progresif. Keutamaan pendidikan Islam mestinya nampak dan mewarnai kehidupan manusia yang segar dan maju. Hal ini bisa terjadi ketika merespon berbagai penemuan dan perkembangan masa kini.
This article aims to find out how the existence of alkhairat media and its role as a da'wah communication channel in the city of Palu. This study used qualitative research methods. The type of data to be collected in this study consists of primary data and secondary data. The primary data in this study were in the form of words or verbal utterances and the behavior of the subject or research informant related to the Alkhairat Media in the city of Palu. The primary data of this study were sourced from informants who were directly related and knew clearly about the problems studied, namely the editors of the Media Alkhairat daily newspaper, Palu City and stakeholders in the city of Palu. While secondary data is data sourced from documents in the form of notes, reports and other forms of documents. Data collection techniques in this study using observation and interview techniques. data analysis techniques using data reduction techniques, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the existence of alkhairaat media as a propaganda channel in the city of Palu has the main characteristics, namely; Editorial guide policy Prioritizing local content enriched with regional content, national content, international content, Da'wah content that is more inclusive, tolerant, washatiyah and moderate, has a vision for alkhairaatan as a means of education and empowerment of the community and has a semi-Republican style, meaning mainstream content, but cannot be separated from the corridor of Islamic values. The role of Media Alkhairaat as a propaganda channel in the city of Palu is as a communicator, motivator, reference source and public education.
Muhammad Naquib al-Attas argued that the primary thing in education is the process. Yet, three basic elements (core inherent) in education; humans and their fitrah concept, educational content, and attitude also become other important things to be considered. Thus, a teacher has several duties as follow; first, comprehending humans and their fitrah, means that they are assumed as learners who have great potential since birth. Second, understanding the aim of education. The ultimate duties of a teacher as able to comprehend and convey the core of the education well. Third, conveying good attitude. In case, attitude, appearance and other are highlighted and copied by them. In sum, those duties will make Islamic education be renewal of this time as the initiate of Islamic concept in science and moral concepts in education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri hakikat pemikiran pendidikan KH. Ahmad Dahlan dan relevansinya dengan dunia pendidikan modern sebagai seorang pelopor pendidikan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif yang berbentuk library research (Penelitian Pustaka). Teknik pengumpulannya yaitu dengan dokumentasi, analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data deskriptif verifikatif dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemikiran pendidikan KH. Ahmad Dahlan memadukan materi pengetahuan agama dan pengetahuan umum. Pertukaran guru, long life long education, kompetensi guru, program guru pembelajar. Kompetensi sosial, kepemimpinan, kompetensi sosial terbuka kosmopolit.
