The objective of this paper is to synthesise through the reviews of various innovative teaching methods and how they have influenced the practice of entrepreneurship education. The various methods identified are case studies, business plan creation, problem-solving, simulation and games, team based or group discussions, guest speaker, seminars, individual and group projects, role play and lectures with latter being teacher centred while all the former are student centred. It was however, established that no one method can be used solely on its own, hence, the need for collective adoption under a given circumstance. Practically, all trainers, instructors and educators in the entrepreneurship field need to focus both on the design and implementation of entrepreneurship teaching and course programs based on the various aspects in terms of the teaching model(s) being adopted from the perspectives of providing answers to the questions of the why (purposes of the learning), what (contents), how (methods and pedagogies), for whom (audiences, participants), and for which outcomes (assessment).There are no enough models to conceptually drive the curriculum design and teaching methods of entrepreneurship education.
The purpose of this research is to develop an effective school model based on the Malaysian context. To obtain experts' consensus, the Delphi technique has been chosen as the method of study. Some 15 experts from various fields with wide experience in school leadership have been chosen as respondents. The use of four rounds of Delphi Techniques in this study has successfully identified seven contributory aspects and their strategies to make a school more effective. Furthermore, the experts' consensus has also agreed that all 138 items in the fourth round of the Delphi Technique can be used as the content of the Malaysian Effective School Model.
Nowadays many of us give many excuses when to do some exercise. To make exercise more interesting some recreational sports fans exercise with integration of elements music. Can music really improve involvement to exercise routine regularly? The purpose of this study is the know the level involvement of recreational sports enthusiasts in routine sports activities and identify musical element links with the involvement of recreational sports enthusiasts during routine activities. This study using qualitative phenomenology research design method. Three participants who are recreation sports enthusiast were chosen as participant using purposive sampling. Observation, video recording and interview unstructured were carried out to bring the real experience participant views. The collected data have been analysis by thematic analysis. There are three themes that have been identified, namely motivation, benefits and elements of music are all explained in detail in this study. Indeed, participation in recreational sports fans do exercise regularly with the involvement of elements of music when doing recreational sports. For future research, study should be conducted using case study or using larger sample with different population.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of principal's communication style and school climate in primary school in the district of Lipis, Pahang, Malaysia. This study using quantitative descriptive-correlational research design method. 300 primary school teachers in the district of Lipis completed 7 Likert Organizational Climate Description and Principal's Communication Style Questionnaire for this study. They were selected based on two-stage random sampling. Data were collected using the survey method and were analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science). Based on the data collected, the findings showed that principal in primary school's principal strongly practiced relinquish style, equalitarian style, structure and dynamic style in daily routine as perceived by primary school teachers in the district of Lipis. Thus, teachers also perceived least number of primary schools' principal practicing control style and withdraw style in daily routine activities. Teachers also perceived that school climate is in supportive and engaged environment. The findings also revealed that there was a moderate and positive relationship (r = 0.451, p=0.000) between principal's communication style and school climate. In term of determining the contributions of the significant predictors of school climate, the result revealed that dimension of principal's communication and style contributed 28.7 percent the variance of school climate. The findings of this study have implications to the role of principal in exercising suitable communication style to develop a positive school climate. For future research, study should utilize the Organizational Climate Description and Principal's Communication Style Questionnaire for continuous principal development programmer as part of self-evaluation by using mix method and larger sample.
