This study aims to determine and analyze the Diversification Strategy of Cultural Attractions in Support of Tourism Development in Wakatobi Village. This research method is qualitative research. The determination of the informants in this study was obtained by purposive sampling. The informants are community leaders and traditional leaders who are key informants. The results show that the opportunity for Wakatobi Regency to become a cultural tourism destination can be opened, because it is supported by the exoticism of local communities with their cultural diversity. The strategy that can be prioritized in the development of Wakatobi village tourism is the diversification of cultural attractions that are organized through institutions or Tourism Awareness Groups initiated by the community and funded by the local government and acting as an active facilitator. It seems that the political will and political commitment of leaders to maximize local government efforts need to be supported by tourism stakeholders from the government, private sector and the wider community, this is a weakness that needs to be covered so that the strategy in developing Community Base Tourism (CBT) tourism in Wakatobi provides a diversification of attractions. tour which is actually quite interesting to witness. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa Strategi Diversifikasi Atraksi Budaya Dalam Mendukung Pengembangan Wisata Desa Wakatobi. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penentuan informan penelitian ini diperoleh secara Purposive sampling. Adapun informan yaitu tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh adat yang merupakan informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peluang kabupaten wakatobi menjadi destinasi wisata budaya dapat terbuka, karena didukung oleh eksotisme komunitas lokal dengan keberagaman budaya yang mereka miliki. Strategi yang dapat diprioritas dapat dalam pengembangan wisata desa Wakatobi adalah diversifikasi atraksi budaya yang terorganisasi melalui kelembagaan atau Kelompok Sadar Wisata yang diprakarsai masyarakat dan didanai oleh pemerintah daerah serta berperan sebagai fasilitator yang aktif. Tampaknya political will dan political comitment pemimpin untuk memaksimalkan upaya pemerintah daerah perlu di dukung oleh stekholder pariwisata dari pihak jajaran pemerintah, swasta dan masyarakat luas hal merupakan kelemahan yang perlu ditutupi agar strategi dalam pengembangan wisata Community Base Tourism (CBT) di Wakatobi menyajikan adanya diversifikasi atraksi wisata yang sesungguhnya cukup menarik untuk disaksikan.
Hotel competition in South Sulawesi Province in 2018 has increased. This study aims to: determine the price of hotel rooms in the city of Palopo, South Sulawesi Province, find out how the cost of hotel promotions in the City of Palopo, South Sulawesi Province, find out whether the room price and promotion costs have a significantly positive effect on hotel room occupancy rates in Palopo City, South Sulawesi Province. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. Data collection techniques used are the method of observation, documentation techniques and questionnaires. The results showed that of 17 Hotels / Pensions / Villas in Palopo City, South Sulawesi Province, the room occupancy rate was on average 27%. Promotion fee is Rp. 17,368, - per room. Of the two regression coefficients possessed by the two independent variables, the two independent variables (X1) namely room price and promotion costs (X2) have a significant positive effect on the occupancy rate of the room (Y).
This research is a qualitative descriptive study. by collecting descriptive data as outlined in the form of reports and descriptions. Data is obtained by approaching or documenting archives, documents, records or everything needed for this research. Then the data will be analyzed with qualitative analysis. The data that has been obtained will be validated by using the triangulation method, which is checking data from various sources in various ways, and at various times. There are two triangulation techniques namely source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the research conducted at BPRS HIK Makassar showed the mechanism for calculating the profit sharing system used using system revenue sharing with a ratio of 70:30. The revenue sharing system applies to the bank income that will be distributed calculated based on gross income. In BPRS HIK Makassar the Revenue sharing system mechanism is used by way of sharing the benefits of fund management carried out by the Bank before deducting operational costs or profit sharing calculated from gross profit / total income and using mudharabah mutlaqah and mudharabah muqayyadah contracts. So the revenue sharing system at BPRS HIK Makassar is in accordance with the National Shari'ah Council fatwa No: 02/DSNMUI/IV/2000 regarding the general provisions of savings based on Mudharabah.
The purpose of this research is to describe the strategy of culinary business adaptation and integration of culinary business adaptation into the teaching materials of hospitality business study programs in the city of Pare-Pare during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach of this type of case study, Researchers sought to uncover the reality of the meaning that occurred in the field about the form of culinary business adaptation in the city of Pare-Pare during the covid-19 pandemic as material for medical business courses (BHO). In this case, the researcher conducts interviews, observations and documentation to get information about the main theme of studies. The analysis of the data is carried out circularly, starting from the presentation of data, reduction of data and conclusions. The results of his research are: 1) Social commitment characterized by new activities and ways of life that refer to "happy business, happy worker, happy customer"; 2) Innovation of business digitization one of them is switching to non-cash transactions, making online sales, the emergence of creativity and innovation in the use of technology to raise the value of kuline products 3) The development of culinary business in the city of Pare-pare can be used as one of the references for the source of hospitality business teaching materials. This research also provides a recommendation in writing a teaching book about the management of culinary businesses in the city of Pare-Pare as a guideline for the development of creative economy-based businesses in optimizing business potential in the New Normal Period.
Erong' in Toraja Tribe is a funeral tradition which is potentially used as a learning source for Tourism Geography. The research aimed at discovering the use of 'erong' in funeral tradition of Toraja. The concerns of this research were the history of 'erong', its the development process, and the optimalization of 'erong' as supplementary learning materials on the topic of potential attraction on the Tourism Geography course in Tourism Polytechnic of Makassar. This ethnographic study employed observation and in-depth interview in collecting the data. The collected data applied was based on their category and chronology then simultaneously checked and coded. The data verification strategy used triangulation, member checking, and audit trial. This research revealed the history underlying the tradition of 'erong' including the belief in Aluk Sanda Pitunna (Rule 7777) which was originated from the teachings of the ancestors (Aluk Todolo). 'Erong' as Austronesian culture came through the transformation into Pata'ne. Nowadays the uniqueness of Toraja's culture makes it popular as destination for both local and international tourists. In optimizing the integration of this tradition into curriculum of Tourism Geography within the scope of Tourism Polytechnic of Makassar, the result of this research will become supplementary textbook. Further study is recommended to conduct in-depth research on the potential of other local tourism destinations in Toraja such as Rambu Solo ceremony (funeral), Rambu Tuka (thanksgiving), traditional house Tongkonan, and Passiliran (baby grave).
