The paper primarily stresses on exploring the teacher's voice toward metacognitive strategy based instruction using audio-visual aid for listening. The metacognitive strategy model applied in the study was inspired from Vandergrift and Tafaghodtari (2010) instructional model. Thus it is modified in the procedure and applied with audio-visual aids for improving listening comprehension. The research setting was at SMA Negeri 2 Parepare, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, and the sample of research was teacher of English at tenth grade at SMAN 2. The data was collected using in depth interview during the research and analyzed using qualitative analysis. The result of data showed that this strategy assisted the teacher in teaching listening comprehension as the procedure has systematic steps that encourage students' critical thinking on learning listening. Also, applying metacognitive strategy with audiovisual aids eases the teacher to grab students' comprehension in listening.
Health problems should be particularly noted from infancy. The problem that occurs a lot in Indonesia today is stunting. Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by a lack of nutritional intake for a long time, resulting in growth disorders in children, namely lower or shorter child height. This activity aims to increase stunting prevention efforts based on education and socialization. The implementation method used in this activity is the follow-up review method with a participatory action program approach involving posyandu cadres. The results of observations in this activity were that active children followed the steps of washing their hands. Conclusion. Service activities were carried out well, and there was an increase in maternal knowledge about stunting prevention. The advice from this activity is for the community to actively obtain information about stunting prevention and the active role of cadres in educating the community about stunting in each posyandu activity.
ABSTRAKPengujian aktivitas antioksidan pada ekstrak etanol Rambut Jagung (Zea Mays L.) yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil). Sebagai kontrol positif digunakan vitamin C. Ekstrak etanol diperoleh dengan metode maserasi. Aktivitas antioksidan sampel ditentukan oleh besarnya persentase peredaman radikal DPPH. Ekstrak etanol rambut jagung memiliki aktivitas antioksidan lebih tinggi dibanding dengan vitamin C sebesar 7,73 ppm dan masuk dalam kategori sangat kuat. Kata kunci : DPPH, Rambut Jagung, Uji Aktvitas Antioksidan, (Zea mays L.). ABSTRACTThe antioxidant activity test of ethanol corn hair (Zea Mays L.) extract has been done by using DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl). As a positive control used vitamin C. The ethanol extract is obtained by maceration method. The antioxidant activity of the sample is determined by the percentage of DPPH radical reduction. The purpose of this study was to determine 1) The effect of the principal's academic supervision and school culture simultaneously on the quality of teacher teaching, 2) The influence of the principal's academic supervision on the teaching quality of teachers, 3) The influence of school culture on the teaching quality of teachers at SMAN 6 Wajo. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, the population is all teachers of SMAN 6 Wajo. The sample is 54 people. The results of the study show 1) There is a simultaneous influence of the principal's academic supervision and school culture on the teaching quality of teachers, where the principal's supervision indicators are in the good category, while school culture and teacher teaching quality descriptively are in the very good category, 2) There is an influence The principal's academic supervision on the teaching quality of teachers, where the principal's academic supervision has a significant effect on the teaching quality of teachers, it means that the better the principal's academic supervision, the better the teacher's teaching quality, 3) There is an influence of school culture on the teaching quality of teachers at SMAN 6 Wajo where school culture has a significant effect on the quality of teacher teaching, meaning that the better or conducive school culture, the better the teaching quality of teachers.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengatahui 1) Implementasi kebijakan peningkatan mutu, 2) Kendala peningkatan mutu, 3) Solusi peningkatan mutu SDN 88 Bontosunggu Paitana. Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, guru kelas I dan IV. Prosedur mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data mengunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data,pengajian data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 1) Implementasi kebijakan peningkatan mutu dengan penetapan nilai KKM, penetapan jadwal kegiatan siswa, adanya perubahan nilai UAS, tujuan peningkatan hasil ujian sekolah, dan peningkatan kualitas lulusan sekolah , sesuai dengan pemaparan hasil dan pembahasan, 2) Kendalanya pemahaman kalangan siswa, serta rendahnya disiplin siswa menjadi tantangan dalam pelaksanaan kebijakan mutu, 3) Solusi peningkatan mutu SDN 88 Bontosunggu Paitana, dengan menerapkan kebijakan peningkatan mutu dan memberikan pendekatan yang mendorong siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Kesimpulan peningkatan mutu di SDN 88 Bontosunggu Paitana berjalan dengan lancar, namun masih terdapat hambatan-hambatan tertentu dalam upaya peningkatan mutu yang sebenarnya. Namun, ada cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas mutu.
