This study aims to investigate the needs of students in writing skills. In particular, this research attempts to explore the present situation, the target, and the learning needs for the writing course. Need analysis is conducted for deciding the goals and the objectives of the upcoming curriculum and for ensuring that the curriculum content ties the students’ needs. A descriptive method was employed in this study. A questionnaire was used for collecting the data which then analyzed and described qualitatively. The respondents of this research were 176 students of English Education Department students who are mostly in the second semester. The results show that; firstly, in the present situation analysis, most of the students admitted that they were in the intermediate level of English; specifically, most of them have fair proficiency in writing. Next, in the target situation analysis, writing skill is the secondary need of the students in which grammar is the most priority needed by the students to be improved. Next, the students’ purposes in learning English are to be a teacher/lecturer, translator, and tourism guide. Most of the students are more enjoyable for learning in the classroom that should be consisted of not more than 30 students. Thirdly, in the learning needs analysis, the students were interested to learn writing using discussion. For doing the writing task, the students require to have individual work. The learning media that is the most needed is PowerPoint presentation. In addition, the most important learning source that the students need is a hand-out and the topics of the material are about issues in Indonesia. Finally, the results of this research are expected to contribute to the curriculum development at the English Education Department of UIN SAIZU.
Learning without strengthening understanding of concepts can cause misconceptions and learning to be less meaningful. This study aims to analyze students' understanding of the concept of colloidal material. The research design uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA Islamic High School Plus Bina Insani Susukan 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection using three tier multiple choice tests. The results of data analysis showed 43% of students understood the concept, 39% of students experienced misconceptions and 15% of students in the category of lack of understanding and 3% of students guessed the answers. The highest percentage of indicators shows interpreting the data and giving examples of colloidal material. This shows that most of the students were able to interpret the data and set examples well. Problem-based learning with a joyful learning approach is enough to help students in understanding students' concepts.
The study aims to describe a value education model in teaching the integration of science and religion and to find out the values generated in the learning process of the integration of science and religion. Education is a major factor in shaping the human personality through the learning process that takes place in schools and in society. These educational goals can be done by providing scientific and religious materials to create the potential of students. Indeed, religious values will guide science and technology that are increasingly developing in the world. Therefore, the integration of science and religion in schools is very important to be taught, so that both of sciences and religions balance each other. This qualitative-naturalistic research used interview, observation, and documentation as the data collection techniques. The results of this study show that (1) the integrative model will facilitate and make learning more meaningful and efficient, so that the teaching and learning process will produce integrated knowledge; (2) through the integration of science and religion, the learning process is more directed which can sharpen the mind; (3) the learning material combining science and religion is the main instrument for realizing learning objectives; (4) the learning strategy integrating science and religion has a good effect on student and teacher interactions during the learning process; (5) the values developed in the integration of science and religion are the value of belief in Allah, being religious, and intelligent.
It is unthinkable that errors in the pronunciation of Arabic voices can hinder understanding and lead to ambiguity and ambiguity in meaning. This study aims to determine the sound errors that researchers witnessed in Luqman al-Hakim Surabya school students. This study uses descriptive and qualitative methods for field research. The source of the data consists of primary data (samples of class II A students) and secondary data found from references related to research. While the method for collecting research data is using observation and interviews. After conducting research at the Luqman Al-Hakim School in Surabaya, the researcher found a sound error, namely the mention of letters that are similar to Tatwiriyah errors and errors in the mention of sounds in Arabic that are not found in Indonesian, namely the Prayer of Blessing. the cause of errors in the mention of the sound of Arabic in class II A students at Luqman Al-Hakim Surabaya School is ignorance and lack of application of rules in terms of sound also because of the influence of mother tongue, namely Indonesian.It is unthinkable that errors in the pronunciation of Arabic voices can hinder understanding and lead to ambiguity and ambiguity in meaning. The purpose of this study was to determine and test Human Resources, Information Technology, Internal Control Systems, Information Value, Financial Control to influence financial statements. This type of research is using quantitative methods using linear regression test. The population in this study were all SKPDs in Pamekasan Regency with the number of SKPD 45 which was carried out by selecting subjects using purposive sampling method. Based on the analysis of research data, it is known through a partial test that Human Resources have a significant effect on the Quality of Regional Financial Reports, Information Technology has no effect on the Quality of Regional Financial Reports, the Internal Control System has a significant effect on the Quality of Regional Financial Reports, Information Value has no significant effect on Quality of Regional Financial Reports, Financial Control has a significant effect on the Quality Financial Statements in Pamekasan Regency.
