Synopsis A new and a quicker method for conducting a load test on piles is described. It eliminates the need of a load maintainer or constant pumping of the jacks to maintain the load at a particular value. The method involves the application of load and its partial automatic release due to the consequent settlement of the ground. A state of equilibrium is achieved between the load and subsequent settlement and the ultimate load is obtained with fair accuracy from the load settlement curve. On décrit une méthode nouvelle et plus rapide pour faire un essai de chargement de pieux. Elle élimine le besoin d'un dispositif de maintien de la charge ou un pompage constant des vérins pour maintenir la charge à une valeur constante. Cette méthode fait jouer l'application de la charge et sa libération partielle automatique due au tassement du sol en résultant. Un état d'équilibre est obtenu entre la charge et le tassement postérieur et la charge finale est obtenue avec une bonne précision à partir de la courbe de tassement de la charge.
In this paper, real estate problem, n-most demanding products (n-MDP) discovering, is formulated. A set of customers demanding a real estate product with multiple features, there are existing products in market, preferred products set which is offered by the company, and a positive integer n, which will be found to help the company to select n products from preferred products such that expected number of the total customers for the n products is maximized. Here it is shown the problem is NP-hard when the number of features for a product is 3 or more. Bit Map Index (BMI) is developed on the customer requirements and products of real estates. The Output of the BMI is given as an input to the algorithm like Apriori. An Apriori algorithm proceeds by identifying the frequent individual items in the database and extending them to larger and larger item sets as long as those item sets appear sufficiently often in the database. An Apriori Algorithm is provided to find the optimal solution of the problem by using the pruning strategy. The n value is determined by the algorithm which will help the company to maximize the product.
In this paper we tried to solve the problem related to earthquake resistant building using the seismic analysis methods via software known as STAAD Pro. There is various kind of loads has been imposed on the structure and analyse one by one using the staad pro software. Loads are imposed and were matched as per our analytical assumptions such as zone 2 city Delhi on the hard type soil. Firstly, we have an experimental approach to the RCC Building frame structure analysis of STAAD Pro. Secondly, loads were calculated by the formula applicable in the efficient way loadings and analysis are done as per the IS 1893:2002/2005. Our main focus was the analysis of seismicity and lateral loads transformation on the RCC building frame on G+12 storey building located in zone-2 as per Indian standards which are an active region of seismicity in India.
