A non-unital algebra has UUNP iff its unitization has UUNP Abstract. Let A be a non-unital Banach algebra, S. J. Bhatt and H. V. Dedania showed that A has the unique uniform norm property (UUNP) if and only if its unitization has UUNP. Here we prove this result for any non-unital algebra.
In this paper, the off-body performance of a singleinput single-output (SISO) system was evaluated in Non-Lineof-Sight (NLOS) situations and compared with measurements done with a clear Line of Sight (LOS) link. The obstructed link study takes into account the human shadowing effect, usually caused by close by miners interrupting the transmitter-receiver link. Measurement campaigns were performed using Monopole antennas in an underground gold mine. The off-body channels were characterized in terms of the channel impulse response, RMS delay spread, and coherence bandwidth. The channel capacity was determined using the well-known Shannon formula for LOS and NLOS situations. The variation of the channel parameters in the different measurement scenarios was analyzed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
