Estudos sobre a implantação do Processo de Enfermagem registram a existência de dificuldades relacionadas às percepções dos enfermeiros sobre a metodologia. O objetivo do estudo foi sintetizar as percepções dos enfermeiros sobre o Processo de Enfermagem e os problemas relacionados à sua aplicação na prática hospitalar. Realizou-se um estudo de metassíntese, na modalidade de integração de pesquisa qualitativa. Os resultados de oito estudos qualitativos, identificados nas bases LILACS, BDENF e SCIELO para o período 2005 a 2009, foram submetidos à síntese integrativa dos seus resultados e à reinterpretação. Três categorias temáticas contendo as percepções dos enfermeiros, indicaram que os enfermeiros percebem favoravelmente o Processo de enfermagem e sua aplicação, desde que sofra mudanças em sua operacionalização para remover os impedimentos de conhecimento insuficiente relacionados à sua aplicabilidade como instrumento qualificador da assistência.
Objetivo: investigar a contribuição das ações de educação em saúde para a promoção do autocuidado e prevenção das complicações do diabetes na pessoa idosa. Método: revisão integrativa de 13 artigos publicados entre 2009 e 2019, nas bases de dados: Cinahl, Lilacs e Medline/PubMed. Resultados: Após participarem de programas educativos, os idosos apresentaram melhora do autocuidado, dos parâmetros bioquímicos, cuidados com os pés, comportamento de redução de risco e redução da morbimortalidade. Conclusão: As ações de educação em saúde são estratégias eficazes no gerenciamento e prevenção de complicações do diabetes mellitus no idoso, devendo ser adaptadas às características de cada população.
