Abstract:The electro-acoustic radiation conductance is a quantitative parameter which characterizes the ability of transforming electric energy to acoustic energy on the ultrasonic transducer. To evaluate the performance of medical ultrasonic probe, we designed an electroacoustic radiation conductance measurement system based on the radiation force balance method and the switching circuit unit for driving each element of array probe. The measurement results suggest that the developed system can be used reliably for the performance evaluation of medical ultrasonic array probes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
