Objetivo: Descrever, a partir de um relato de experiência gerencial, os impactos ocasionados no cotidiano de uma unidade básica de saúde, consequentes à transição prática de diferentes programas de Prontuário Eletrônico do Paciente (PEP). Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, do tipo relato de experiência, a partir da vivência gerencial em uma unidade básica de saúde situada no município do Rio de Janeiro, no período de março de 2018 a fevereiro de 2020. Resultados: A experiência aponta para importantes desafios resultantes do processo de transição entre os diferentes programas existentes, entre eles a promoção da qualificação profissional de forma continua, bem como as limitações de insumos tecnológicos e o impacto ocasionado nas informações a partir das transições, resultando em momentos frequentes de recadastramento. Conclusão: O presente estudo aponta para a necessidade de consolidar um único PEP, tendo em vista os transtornos relatados frutos das constantes transições de PEP, e, principalmente investir no aperfeiçoamento desta ferramenta a partir das dificuldades que emergem do cotidiano da prática profissional.
Tendo como ponto de partida a emergência sanitária representada pela Covid-19, bem como o seu caráter pandêmico, os profissionais de saúde atuantes na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS), onde o vínculo e o contato próximo ao usuário caracterizam fortemente esse nível de atenção, remodelaram o processo de trabalho através de inovações implantadas de forma emergencial. Assim, a iniciativa “APS Forte no SUS – no combate à pandemia de Covid-19” (2020), é uma obra publicada pela Organização Pan-Americana da Saúde (OPAS) e Ministério da Saúde, com o objetivo de reunir e difundir as experiências exitosas de todo o País. Entre elas merecem destaque: a inserção digital, a adaptação da atenção primária à saúde às diferentes vulnerabilidades regionais, o fortalecimento das ações intersetoriais, de vigilância, monitoramento, educação em saúde e comunicação, bem como a contribuição de cada experiência para o fortalecimento do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) neste cenário.
