Problemática: la mayor complejidad de los problemas actuales demanda que los estudiantes fortalezcan sus competencias ligadas a la solución de problemas. Si enseñamos a los estudiantes a resolver problemas, ellos adquirirán independencia y confianza para enfrentar retos futuros. Objetivos: este proyecto se enfoca en la promoción de las competencias del pensamiento computacional a través del desarrollo de proyectos. Materiales y métodos: los alumnos trabajaron en el desarrollo de proyectos en equipo, haciendo uso de roles. Durante el desarrollo de los proyectos, los alumnos debieron procesar información, modelar los prototipos iniciales, evaluar las fallas e incorporar las ideas originales basadas en sus propios procesos creativos. Resultados: los resultados muestran que el principal reto que identificaron los alumnos fue el de generar acuerdos al interior de los grupos que les permitieran hacer adecuaciones a los prototipos y llegar a las versiones finales de estos. Discusión: en este proyecto, los alumnos fueron expuestos a situaciones que emularon ambientes reales de trabajo, en donde ellos debían desarrollar consensos al tiempo que identificaban una ruta sistemática para resolver problemas. Conclusiones: este tipo de proyectos genera un espacio idóneo para que los alumnos asuman roles, se comuniquen eficientemente, aprendan entre ellos y desarrollen soluciones innovadoras bajo un ambiente real de aprendizaje colaborativo. Contribución/originalidad: este proyecto permitirá que los docentes cuenten con una metodología de solución de problemas que podrán compartir con sus estudiantes a fin de que estos puedan aplicarla a la solución de problemas emulando situaciones que los alumnos encontrarán durante su desarrollo profesional y personal.
La Norma Internacional ISO 10014:2006 “Gestión de la Calidad–Directrices para la obtención de beneficios financieros y económicos”, tiene como propósito que la alta dirección de las organizaciones se autoevaluación sobre estos beneficios derivados de la aplicación de la gestión de la calidad. En el presente trabajo se estableció la obtención de beneficios al interior de la ENMSL aplicando los ocho principios de gestión de la calidad. Se fijaron dos objetivos, el primero relacionado con la medición del nivel de grado de madurez de la ENMSL relacionados al cumplimiento de los ocho principios; y el segundo, la recomendación de métodos y herramientas para la obtención de beneficios. La metodología utilizada aplica un cuestionario de ocho principios de calidad y tres preguntas referenciadas. El estudio se realizó al personal docente, administrativo y directivo de la institución, obteniéndose el nivel de madurez, su representación gráfica, la priorización de las oportunidades de mejora, el análisis de los resultados de las encuestas y los resultados del nivel de competitividad de la institución. El nivel de madurez se localiza entre cero (0) a cinco (5). El principio “participación del personal” se posiciona con el menor puntaje (3.5), y el “relación mutuamente beneficiosa con el proveedor” ocupa la posición más alta (4.8). El personal es la esencia de una organización. Se debe contar con personas motivadas, comprometidas en la organización que generen innovación y creatividad al promover los objetivos de la organización siendo responsables de su propio desempeño y participando en la mejora continua.
La presente investigación forma parte del documento que integra una propuesta de eficiencia organizacional con el tema de sistemas de gestión de la calidad en la industria del calzado de Guanajuato. Las empresas de calzado no se están beneficiando de los modelos de calidad internacionalmente aceptados y utilizados para asegurar la calidad de sus procesos y productos. Como parte de actualización de los contenidos de la investigación, se indagó en la metodología que ayudará a las organizaciones a transitar de la versión 2008 a la más reciente versión en 2015 del modelo ISO 9001, con el objetivo de aportar los procedimientos para formular mediante un proceso claro y sencillo a continuar con la certificación de los procesos de diseño y manufactura de las empresas del calzado en la región. Los pasos que se siguieron en la investigación, se encuentran descritos gráficamente en un proceso donde se estableció a la industria del calzado en el Estado de Guanajuato como marco teórico contextual o referencial, así como la problematización de la misma en referencia a la calidad, realizando el análisis documental de nueve casos de estudios llevado a efecto desde el año 2012 al 2015 aportados por instituciones especializadas en el ramo del calzado.
Este proyecto plantea la integración de herramientas tecnológicas y didácticas en la enseñanza de las ciencias experimentales y exactas bajo el enfoque y principios del modelo Sustitución-Aumento-Modificación-Redefinición (Modelo SAMR). Es importante destacar que el modelo SAMR plantea un proceso que permite mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje tomando de base la integración de herramientas tecnológicas y estrategias didácticas. La integración de este modelo hace evidente que las TICs pueden transformar los ambientes de aprendizaje tradicionales en cuatro niveles progresivos de impacto(Sustitución, Aumento, Modificación y Redefinición, de ahí el nombre de modelo SAMR). Sin embargo, es importante tener presente que no todas las herramientas tecnológicas lograrán los cuatro niveles de manera inercial. En este sentido, el docente debe seleccionar e integrar las herramientas tomando en cuenta el potencial de impacto que a su juicio éstas pueden alcanzar. En este proyecto se priorizó el uso de simuladores como elementos sustitutos de metodologías preexistentes para el aprendizaje de temas esenciales en el área de las ciencias exactas y experimentales. Estos simuladores lograron diferentes niveles de impacto al integrarse con herramientas didácticas específicas. Bajo este enfoque las herramientas tecnológicas se aplicaron de tal modo que pudieron ser concebidas como una sustitución, aumento, modificación o redefinición de otras herramientas tradicionales, pero con mejoras funcionales. La incorporación de este modelo, al final del día, permitió impulsar a los estudiantes a entrar en una dinámica de explorar, describir, explicar, evaluar y/o transformar, desarrollando en ellos un pensamiento crítico, analítico y divergente.
