Resumo Este estudo teve como objetivo fazer uma relação variabilidade climática, com ênfase na variabilidade de precipitação, na Região Nordeste do Brasil e a influência no deslocamento humano migratório no estado do Ceará devido à perturbação ambiental dessa variabilidade pluviométrica. O estudo foi feito a partir de dados dos censos demográficos migratórios, para o estado do Ceará, e dados pluviométricos no Nordeste do Brasil, entre os anos 1960 e 2010. A metodologia investigou as características desses deslocamentos migratórios, avaliando-se dados sobre sua mobilidade interestadual em associações com programas governamentais, além de inferir relações com a variabilidade das chuvas decadais entre 1960-2010 na Região Nordeste do Brasil. Os resultados do estudo sugeriram que a redução no número de migrantes para outras regiões do país foi mais influenciada por programas de transferência de renda e desenvolvimento das pequenas e médias cidades, do que impactos diretos da variabilidade pluviométrica na região semiárida do Nordeste do Brasil.
Resumo Este trabalho tem por finalidade analisar a variabilidade climática e a sua relação com a dengue. O trabalho procurou correlacionar os dados meteorológicos coletados no site Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia - INMET relativo ao período de janeiro de 2014 a dezembro de 2019 e os dados do Sistema de Monitoramento Diário de Agravos (SIMDA) da Secretaria de Saúde de Fortaleza. Como resultado verificou-se que as variáveis meteorológicas que mais influenciam os casos de dengue na capital cearense são: velocidade do vento, temperatura mínima, temperatura máxima e precipitação e que o município de Fortaleza/Ce demonstra condições propícias para proliferação do mosquito Aedes aegypti no período em estudo.
