Village-owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are an important instrument in realizing dignified village autonomy. The existence of BUMDes is expected to be one of the main pillars of increasing village income so that it can provide higher quality public services. The management of local tourism potential is one of the prospective business alternatives for Village-Owned Enterprises. The involvement of BUMDes in tourism management is not only for economic purposes. BUMDes role in tourism is also mean to allow the preservation and development of local wisdom values in tourism. This article analyzes the pattern of localcharacter tourism development by BUMDes in three villages. Those are Mumpun Baru Village, Tanjung Lanjut Village, and Pendung Talang Genting Village in Jambi Province. The articles are written based on the research results conducted qualitatively in the Muaro Jambi, Kerinci, and Merangin areas with a purposive sampling method. The analysis shows that several things characterize the development of tourism through BUMDes, namely, tourism products, innovation or novelty in the development of tourism products, the preservation of local wisdom values, the institutional aspects of BUMDes, the contribution of tourism to the community's economy. In addition, managing tourism with BUMDes is key in supportingthe achievement of sustainable tourism which is the global agenda of countries around the world.
The process of digitizing halal certification turns out to be quite difficult for business actors who are not familiar with using computers. Moreover, it takes a long time to fill out the entire form, micro and small business actors who do not have employees prefer to open a business or operate as usual rather than spending time studying a series of certification processes. Therefore, the writing team as halal assistants feel the need to carry out community service in the form of assistance in filling out forms (SJPH). Based on the results of the dedication that has been carried out, it can be said that the service activities have been successful, business actors understand the importance of halal certificates, consciously and willingly attend the mentoring event to gain technical knowledge of processing halal certificates. Business actors are also willing to make improvements when during the filing period a discrepancy is found by the fatwa commission which must be corrected by the business actor.
Character education holds a very pivotal role in literature because it consists of character values that are very useful for the readers. This study aimed to describe the value of religious character education incorporated in Jambi Traditional Pantun. This research was a qualitative research, with analytical descriptive method. The data in this study were collected from the results of a study towards Jambi traditional pantun textbook. The primary data source in this study was Jambi traditional pantun textbook. The secondary data sources in this study were taken from the respondents, including Jambi traditional leaders, teachers, and students. The data collection techniques used in this research were documentation techniques and in-depth interviews with respondents. The validity of the data was ensured through using data and theory triangulation. The data analysis technique used was an interactive analysis model. The results showed that the religious values contained in Jambi traditional pantun were reflected in Jambi communities themselves, where the majority of them are Muslim. Pantun Jambi invites the people of Jambi to always remember God and pray to Him or put their trust in Him. Jambi Traditional Pantun also teaches the values of Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr. Jambi Traditional Pantun is a rule for tJambi communities to carry out daily life and a guide to do good deeds in the world, such as praying, giving out charity, helping each others, fasting, and reciting the Qu'ran. Jambi traditional Pantun teaches forgiveness among human beings to eliminate sins and strengthen ties of friendship.
Abstrak Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Yakni kajian yang intensif, detil dan mendalam tentang suatu organisasi, institusi / fenomena tertentu. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa bentuk penanaman ajaran Islam yang dilakukan oleh orang tua pada anak di Desa Pekan Gedang Kecamatan Batang Asai Kabupaten Sarolangun yang ada dengan cara dibimbing dan diajar sendiri, kemudian dari dalam diri orang tua sendiri dengan memberi teladan atau menjadi teladan bagi anak di rumah, anak diasuh dan diberi nasehat, kemudian diajarkan melalui pembiasaan dan praktek, setelah itu langsung dipraktekkan, kemudian diberikan motivasi dan hukuman.
Kerinci is one of the regions in Sumatra with a strong matrilineal culture. This is reflected in the customs that place the role of women more dominant than men as contained in kenduri Sko ceremony activities. This research aims to see how the role of women contained in the traditional ceremony of Kenduri Sko. This study is a qualitative descriptive study that seeks to explain the representation of matrilineal culture through the role of women in the indigenous upara Kenduri Sko. The results showed that the dominance of women in the largest ceremony for Kerinci society, Kenduri Sko, was very dominant. It is seen from the role of women as dayangs in the series of "mendingin" rituals, women also become the main actors in the "iyo-iyo" dance. Women become parapatoh presenters to recall the heirlooms of ancestors who became the main purpose of the Kenduri Sko ceremony.
