Bu araştırmanın amacı futbolcuların karar verme stillerinin bazı demografik değişkenlere göre incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmaya 70'i amatör (%45,5), 84'i profesyonel (%54,5) olmak üzere toplam 154 erkek futbolcu gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan Kişisel Bilgi Formu ile Melbourne Karar Verme Stilleri Ölçeği Karar II kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ilk olarak normallik testi için çarpıklık basıklık değerlerine bakıldığında dağılımın normal olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda medeni durum, eğitim durumu ve sporculuk düzeyi değişkenlerine göre bireylerin karar verme stilleri arasındaki farklar için T-Testi kullanılmıştır. Bununla birlikte araştırma kapsamında değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri belirlemek için ise Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen bulgulara incelendiğinde, medeni durum ve eğitim düzeyi değişkenlerine göre gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılık olmadığı, sporculuk düzeyi değişkenine göre ise gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte sporculuk yılı değişkenine göre yapılan korelasyon analiz sonucu incelendiğinde, sporculuk yılı ile karar verme stilleri arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; demografik değişkenlerin karar verme stilleri üzerinde etkili olduğu söylenebilir.
