This paper finds digital education as one of the most popular means of education due to the unexampled days caused by COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. One of the tragedies of the epidemic, beneath the death circle and economic cost, is the human cost on our students and on their education. As the virus is spreading across the country, more than 90% of enrolled students were affected by some kind of limitation posed by the educational institutions, with more than a billion impacted around the world. The miniature-term fight versus the virus is about health. But its lengthy-term effects can only be controlled by a digital education system which is comprehensive and rapid. This is the mere way to eliminate a lost generation due to COVID-19 outbreak, and in an "epidemic-aware" earth could be a stable positive step towards educational inclusion. In this paper an online education system in Bangladesh during COVID-19 pandemic has been discussed. The current scenario of education in Bangladesh during COVID-19 has been investigated. This paper also includes the discussion of digital education methods in Bangladesh, possibilities of digital education system and challenges for digital education system. In addition to that the mental health among students during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh has been discussed.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on many people, creating severe anxiety, fear, and complicated feelings or emotions. After the initiation of vaccinations against coronavirus, people’s feelings have become more diverse and complex. Our aim is to understand and unravel their sentiments in this research using deep learning techniques. Social media is currently the best way to express feelings and emotions, and with the help of Twitter, one can have a better idea of what is trending and going on in people’s minds. Our motivation for this research was to understand the diverse sentiments of people regarding the vaccination process. In this research, the timeline of the collected tweets was from December 21 to July21. The tweets contained information about the most common vaccines available recently from across the world. The sentiments of people regarding vaccines of all sorts were assessed using the natural language processing (NLP) tool, Valence Aware Dictionary for sEntiment Reasoner (VADER). Initializing the polarities of the obtained sentiments into three groups (positive, negative, and neutral) helped us visualize the overall scenario; our findings included 33.96% positive, 17.55% negative, and 48.49% neutral responses. In addition, we included our analysis of the timeline of the tweets in this research, as sentiments fluctuated over time. A recurrent neural network- (RNN-) oriented architecture, including long short-term memory (LSTM) and bidirectional LSTM (Bi-LSTM), was used to assess the performance of the predictive models, with LSTM achieving an accuracy of 90.59% and Bi-LSTM achieving 90.83%. Other performance metrics such as precision,, F1-score, and a confusion matrix were also used to validate our models and findings more effectively. This study improves understanding of the public’s opinion on COVID-19 vaccines and supports the aim of eradicating coronavirus from the world.
In this paper, design and implement of a microcontroller based home security system with GSM technology have been presented and analyzed. Two microcontrollers with other peripheral devices which include Light Emitting Diode (LED), Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), Buzzer and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) Module are responsible for reliable operation of the proposed security system. In addition, a mobile phone is interfaced with microcontroller through a Bluetooth device in order to control the system. Moreover, a manual keypad is another way to lock or unlock the system. A Compiler Code Vision AVR is used to design a program that controls the system along with maintaining all security functions. The designed program is applied in Proteus Software for simulation. At last, the results of practical circuit show the proper functions and also verify the reliable security within reasonable cost.
Covid-19 has significantly changed the lives of millions of people worldwide, especially university students. The pandemic has a strong influence on university students, all of whom are concerned about their future. This paper addresses the issue of the impact of the pandemic on final-year internship students. The work's goal is to illustrate how Covid-19 outbreaks in the last year have influenced final-year internship university students and their internships, internship opportunities, career prospects, psychological well-being, and motivation. The Covid-19 impact is so huge on education. The purpose of this study is to show how it hampers a specific sector, like university final year internship students. In the future, if anybody wants to know the situation of intern students at universities, they will get to know it. The work aims to examine and classify the fundamental problems that final year students have faced in finding an internship during the Covid-19 pandemic period, the obstacles they face in finding an internship, how universities help their students, how students get internships, why internship opportunities are getting limited, and how students overcome obstacles in finding an internship. To complete this research, first, we chose around 25 questions and worked on them to survey different university students in Bangladesh. The research was performed using reviews of different research papers and a survey approach. The survey has been developed using the Google Forms platform. Three hundred students who are currently studying at public and private universities in Bangladesh participated in the study. Students have been asked to answer 25 questions online. The data was evaluated concretely. Most of those students were from the last semester or last year of their university life. And in the end, we finally came to a conclusion about how the research worked. It creates a scenario where over 300 students have shared their thoughts on each aspect of the research questions.
