The current study aimed at investigating the impact of flipped learning model on university students' procrastination and their attitudes toward flipped learning. The study utilized a quasi-experimental research design, which employed Tuckman's procrastination test, which was administered to all 80 students enrolled in two sections at "computer in education" course offered by the Faculty of education at Hashemite University, Jordan during the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The study utilized two research instruments: Tuckman's "Procrastination Test" which consisted of 16 items with five alternatives for each item according to Likert Scale and attitudes questionnaire. Students were divided randomly into two groups: control and experimental groups. The 40 students in the experimental group were taught by flipped learning model while the 40 students in the control group were taught by a traditional model. To answer the research questions, means and standard deviations were calculated for students' responses on the Tuckman's procrastination test. The results of the study showed that procrastination persisted as there were no significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) for the benefit of flipped learning model despite the positive attitudes students showed toward flipped learning on the attitudes questionnaire. Based on the results obtained, procrastination proved to be a tough issue, which may require further attention and psychological intervention to help students to overcome the issue, capitalizing on the positive attitudes they showed toward flipped learning.
Abstract-This study aimed at examining the effectiveness of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) as used in group counseling to reduce the level of anxiety for Jordanian learners of English as a foreign language. The study sample consisted of 32 male and female students at Ajloun National University. The students were all at the undergraduate level and have received the highest anxiety scores on the foreign language anxiety scale. The students were randomly divided into two groups; an experimental group and a controlled group. Each group consisted of 16 male and female students. The experimental group received training on REBT, while no remedial training was given to the controlled group. Results of the study revealed that REBT was more effective in reducing the anxiety level for learners of English compared to the absence of using the remedial program for members of the controlled group. Statistical analysis showed a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the controlled group (α= 0.05). The use of REBT was not gender specific since statistical analysis revealed no statistically significant difference between males and females (α= 0.05).

The study sample consisted of 572 male and female undergraduate students. To achieve the aims of this study, scales of religious commitment and ego strength were developed and satisfactory psychometric properties of validity and stability were provided. The results showed that the levels of religious commitment and ego strength were high. Moreover, the results indicated that there is a positive significant correlation between religious commitment and ego strength. The results also showed there were no statistically significant differences in religious commitment and ego strength due to gender. However, there were statistically significant differences in terms of year of study in favor of fourth -year students and also in terms of specialization in favor of scientific specializations.

This study aimed at investigating the relationship between irrational beliefs and foreign language anxiety among a sample of (118) undergraduate students at Ajloun National University in Jordan. To achieve the purpose of the study, two scales were used: An irrational scale and an Arabic version of Horwitz and Cope's foreign language anxiety scale. The correlation descriptive method was used for data analysis. The results showed that there is statistically significant correlation between irrational beliefs and foreign language anxiety. Significant differences were found in the strength of relationship between irrational beliefs and foreign language anxiety according to gender in favor of meals. No Significant differences were found in the strength of relationship between irrational beliefs and foreign language anxiety due to academic level.
