Abstract-This study aims to investigate the effect of using an educational computer game on the improvement of learning English language vocabulary in the city of Irbid. To achieve this aim was programmed a computer game to teach third graders English language vocabulary. The sample of the study consisted of 97 male and female students. They deliberately selected from the Kofor Awaan Girls School and Abu Isam Primary Boys School, they were distributed over two groups: One of them is an experimental group of 52 students (male, female) taught English language vocabulary through a computer game strategy, and the other a control group of 47 students (male, female). The findings of the study showed that there are statistical significant differences at the level of (!=0.05) between the experimental group and the control group in favour of the experimental group, and that there are statistical significant differences at the level of (!=0.05) related to gender in favour of female, and that there are statistical significant differences at the level of (!=0.05) of the interaction between the teaching strategy and gender.
This paper proposes a model that classifies the Arabic dialect of 26 different dialects from a given text. We used the dataset provided by MADAR Shared Task on Arabic Fine-Grained Dialect Identification, sub-task 1. 19 teams participated in this task, and the highest accuracy achieved by the winning team was 67.33%. Our model’s accuracy outperforms that by 0.785%. The proposed model consists of 3 classifiers and then ensembles the predictions from the classifiers to predict the result. We used both n-grams features and probability predictions from the 6-label dataset provided by the organizers. Our model achieves 68.15% accuracy and 68.01% macro F1-score.
The aim of this research is to investigate The levels of emotional stability levels of self – assertion, and the correlation between these levels.

This paper aims to find out the similarities and differences between Jordanian (JA), Egyptian (EA), and Kuwaiti (KA) Arabic in which cues disambiguate alternative questions (altqs) and disjunctive yes-no questions (dynqs): intonation contour and choice of disjunctive element (DE). A perception study was run in the three dialects, replicating Pruitt & Roelofsen’s (2013) perception study on English. Mixed-effects logistic regression was used to explore the results which revealed all dialects show a main effect of both intonation and DE choice; a rise contour and use of ʔaw significantly increased the likelihood of dynq responses. The effect of intonation was larger than that of DE choice in all dialects. The differences between the dialects lay in the relative strength of the DE coefficients.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
