We present a high efficiency inverter (>90%) that can drive an acoustic cavitation reactor with a 2 kW power between 10 and 100 kHz. This reactor is composed of numerous piezoelectric transducers and is particularly used to accelerate various industrial chemical reactions and destroy a variety of organic contaminants in water. The class-D amplifier or inverter is composed of power MOSFETs, type IRFP460, in a full bridge configuration driven by IR2110 circuits in bootstrap mode. The specific nature of the problem comes from the fact that, at frequencies slightly different from a resonant frequency frn, the load is mostly capacitive. The insertion of an appropriate low-pass filter in front of the load allowed an efficient solution to the problem due to the load being capacitive for harmonics. The realized system can provide nearly 2 kW to this type of piezoelectric load, with an efficiency of more than 95%

A communicating object, or connected object, is a key element of the Internet of Things to shift a perceptible real world into a wide digital virtual world known as the cyber-physical system. Knowing that sustainability, safety, and logistic issues are among the significant goals and challenges of modern industrial enterprises, the communicating object can be a relevant concept to guarantee safety performance in logistics and warehouse management. This article presents the impacts and advantages of the communicating object in smart logistics and the design of a communicating object model inspired from Internet of Things European research projects, which controls and monitors safety risks in a hazardous and chemical industrial context. Generic safety-based scenarios are presented, which rely on a set of negotiated interaction mechanisms for storage and picking. The relevant deployment of intelligence in a warehouse management system leads to propose a new concept called ''IoT-controlled Safe Area.'' Our contribution is to bring informational, communicational, and decisional capabilities close to the warehousing physical world thanks to the communicating object. This enables achieving safety assurance with a decrease in the decision-making delay and an increase in the solving efficiency of local and dynamic disruptions, while avoiding inherent shortcomings of the warehouse management system centralization. For this, an industrial implementation is presented.

This paper presents the design of an additive fault tolerant control for nonlinear time-invariant singularly perturbed systems against actuator faults based on Lyapunov redesign principle. The overall system is reduced into subsystems with fast and slow dynamic behavior using singular perturbation method. The time scale reduction is carried out when the singular perturbation parameter is set to zero, thus avoiding the numerical stiffness due to the interaction of two different dynamics. The fault tolerant controller is computed in two steps. First, a nominal composite controller is designed using the reduced subsystems. Secondly, an additive part is combined with the basic controller to overcome the fault effect. The derived ε -independent controller guarantees asymptotic stability despite the presence of actuator faults. The Lyapunov stability theory is used to prove the stability provided the singular perturbation parameter is sufficiently small.
