Marc Levy est un écrivain français contemporain dont les romans sont traduits vers plus de quarante langues. L'Etrange voyage de Monsieur Daldry de Marc Levy, publié en 2011, raconte l'histoire d'une jeune fille anglaise qui se charge du voyage vers Istanbul, à l'aide de Monsieur Daldry, pour connaitre la vérité de ses origines comme l'a prédit la voyante. Notre choix est orienté vers ce roman pour plusieurs raisons: l'auteur utilise le suspens narratif qui rend le lecteur éveillé jusqu'à la dernière page, il emploie également deux genres littéraires dans cette oeuvre: le genre romanesque et le genre épistolaire, le temps et l'espace sont toujours en mouvement permanent et l'auteur emploie également des personnages multiples au sein du tissu narratif, tout cela nous pousse à étudier, et à relever les indices de la subjectivité dans l'oeuvre choisie et de découvrir l'implication et le dynamisme de la subjectivité énonciative dans l'oeuvre de Marc Levy. Dans cette étude, nous remarquons que l'expression de la subjectivité est apparente dans le roman choisi; le locuteur s'impose comme responsable de l'acte d'énonciation et ses traces deviennent claires dans l'emploi des pronoms personnels et les déictiques spatio-temporels… Bref, la présente étude discute les traces du positionnement et de l'implication du locuteur dans le discours d'après les théories énonciatives de quelques linguistes comme E.
