<span lang="EN-GB">This research aims to know the personality (introvert) affects the students on their speaking English performance and influences the students in their communication,</span><span lang="EN-GB">and to know the effort of the introvert students to handle the personality problem in</span><span lang="EN-GB">speaking English performance. In order to collect the data, observation,</span><span lang="EN-GB">questionnaire and interview was three research instrument used.</span><span lang="EN-GB">The participant of this research was a 26 students in the second semester of English</span><span lang="EN-GB">Education Department, Ibn Khaldun University Bogor. Finally for the result of this</span><span lang="EN-GB">research revealed that for the score was 2.23 in average of students speaking</span><span lang="EN-GB">performance, it means fair slightly good. This statement was strengthened with the</span><span lang="EN-GB">data analysis that the most affecting factors from psychological aspects towards</span><span lang="EN-GB">introvert students in speaking skill were depressed (92%). From the linguistics</span><span lang="EN-GB">factors, eight of thirteen students said vocabulary and grammar was the common</span><span lang="EN-GB">problem. And six of thirteen students experienced difficulties in pronunciation.</span><span lang="EN-GB">Introvert students used a various strategies to overcome their public speaking</span><span lang="EN-GB">problems, several students try to improving their speak ability by read a book and</span><span lang="EN-GB">record it, sing an English song, have a conversation every day, by join the</span><span lang="EN-GB">community outside of the university, help their brother/sister do their homework,</span><span lang="EN-GB">talk with the foreigner, watch YouTube.</span>
Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan satu dari tiga elemen Tri Dharma perguruan tinggi, yakni Pengajaran, Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Ini menjadi tugas yang harus dijalankan oleh civitas akademika baik mahasiswa maupun dosen. Secara subtansi, KKN menjadi media bag mahasiswa untuk melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat secara langsung di lapangan. Disinilah proses pembelajaran mahasiswa melalui berbagai kegiatan langsung di tengah-tengah masyarakat dilakukan. Dalam tugas ini, kelompok mahasiswa melakukan observasi dengan metode tanya jawab dengan masyarakat dan pendokumentasian. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ditentukanlah program kerja yang meliputi program fisik dan non fisik. Adapun program fisik yaitu kerja bakti kampung, posterisasi, pendataan penduduk, uri-uri permainan tradisional, perbaikan dan pengembangan TBM dan pengembangan apotek hidup. Sedangkan program nonfisik yaitu penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan, pendampingan PAUD, bimbingan belajar, pelatihan hasta karya, senam sehat kampung mingguan, serta penutupan. Dalam menjalankan program-program tersebut, mahasiswa berperan sebagai fasilitator, dinamisator dan motivator. Pelaksanaan program kerja yang dimulai dari tanggal 07 Agustus 2018–05 September 2018.
Pembahasan terkait dengan tujuan pemberdayaan, Sulistiyani (2004) menjelaskan bahwa tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah untuk membentuk individu dan masyarakat menjadi mandiri. Kemandirian tersebut meliputi kemandirian berpikir, bertindak dan mengendalikan apa yang mereka lakukan. Perlunya upaya pemberdayaan adalah berangkat dari kenyataan masih lemahnya posisi sebagian besar masyarakat dalam menuntut hak dan menjalankan kewajibannya ditunjukkan dengan kurang aksesnya mereka terhadap beberapa fasilitas, misalnya informasi, teknologi, permodalan usaha, hukum, dan kesehatan Berbagai kelemahan akses tersebut diawali dengan rendahnya tingkat pendidikan yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat kita terutama di pedesaaan yang ada di Kp Kenanga RT 04/06, Desa Banyu Resmi, Kec. Cigudeg, Kab. Bogor. Pelaksanaannya dalam masyarakat ataupun sekolah di wujudkan dengan pelatihan skill, mengajar dan tak lupa pentingnnya menanamkan akhlaqul karimah merupakan pondasi terpenting dalam segala aspek kehidupan. Dari semua pencapaian tersebut akan tercapaianya kualitas hidup yang diharapkan oleh semua masyarakat.
Microblogging are often used by the teacher in the learning process. Microblogging like Instagram is one of the web technologies or applications that are used for the learning process. Microblogging is not only writing a tweet on Twitter. On Instagram students also can be media for student learning writing. In addition, microblogging can be used as interesting media to learn English. Therefore this study was conducted to find out what is a significant effect of using microblogging and also find out what are student perception of the use of microblogging to elevate student creativity in a writing activity. using qualitative methods, research instruments are interview, questionnaires, and documents. The study was conducted at one of the vocational school in Bogor with eight students as participants. From the findings, it is concluded that students have some significant and have positive perceptions after using microblogging in writing activities. Most students agreed that microblogging is easy to use for writing. They also said microblogging is an interesting medium for learning English.
