Malaysian government is currently pushing and encouraging for women involvement in entrepreneurship, which will ultimately stimulate the country's economy. Furthermore, concerns regarding the survival and sustainability of business and women entrepreneurs have been brought up by the leadership, despite governmental recognition. The journey towards business success among these women entrepreneurs, especially those from developing countries, may be further complicated by the lack of competencies. Thus, the present study is aiming to propose a model for women business success aligning with the role of social capital and entrepreneurial competencies. It has utilised 6 dimensions of entrepreneurial competencies, which are: strategic competencies, commitment competencies, organizing competencies, relationship competencies, commitment competencies, opportunity competencies and conceptual competencies. In developing countries, social capital is a topic of interest that has yielded positive effect on business performance. It is resources that can be accessed by entrepreneurs via personal network, allowing them to identify opportunities, mobilize resources and ensure the legitimacy of their operations. For this study, social capital have been used as a moderating effect. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) has been employed as the main statistical technique in this study.
The Malaysian government's objective of wanting to establish rapid growth of women entrepreneurs is a high priority, while the long-term sustainability and survival of business are also given similar importance. Malaysian government actively promotes women's involvement in entrepreneurship with the aim of stimulating the country's economy. However, many women entrepreneurs, especially in developing countries, lack competencies. Thus, the present study aims to propose a model for women business success that aligns with entrepreneurial competencies It has utilised 6 dimensions of entrepreneurial competencies, which are: strategic competencies, commitment competencies, organizing competencies, relationship competencies, commitment competencies, opportunity competencies and conceptual competencies. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) has been employed as the main statistical technique in this study. Overall, the study has found that only four of the independent variables (i.e. elements of entrepreneurial competencies), namely relationship, opportunity, organizing and commitment competencies have significant relationships with women's business success. The remaining 2 domains, strategic competencies and conceptual competencies have revealed to be not significant. The findings are likely to be useful to SMEs, as they have highlighted the necessity of focusing on training to yield increased effectiveness. The model from this study will also further contribute towards the development of literature review related to the favourable outcome for women entrepreneurs.
Nurses are critical frontline at a covid-19 pandemic hospital, working around the clock, have exposed to the high risk of infection and in the meantime, they take care of their husband, children, parent, and others at home. They are in the stress working condition that they need to enhance cognitive ability to better coping with stress encountered at covid-19 pandemic hospitals. The present study proposed both the emotionally intelligent and growth mindset simultaneously used to improve nurse's cognitive ability to be better coping with stressful working conditions. Precisely, a study investigates emotional intelligent outcomes of direct and indirect (through the growth mindset) impact better coping with stress working environment. The notion of indirect effect based on positive emotion theory proposed a positive emotion broaden an individual's momentary thought-action repertoire, present study counseled is a growth mindset and the cognitive ability anticipated to produce better coping with stress working environment. Moreover, growing recognition how individuals regulate emotional experiences intriguing present study to investigate the moderating impact of experiential avoidance to the cognitive ability study and coping with stress. To test the idea, data will be collected from nurses at the covid-19 pandemic hospital. To minimize potential common method bias, data will be collected at two points in time separated by a four-week interval. The result of the present study anticipated to become one of the sources of reference for the government to prepare nurses to have a better cognitive ability to manage stress at pandemic hospital. Meanwhile, the contributes to the existing body of knowledge by establishing an unexplored indirect effect of emotional intelligence on coping stress through the mediation of growth mindset. In other words, the present study extends the existing literature on the emotional intelligent outcomes which are currently limited to work engagement, job performance, customer satisfaction, and student achievement. Meanwhile, the experiential avoidance appears to be a resistance factor of particular importance for understanding the phenomenology of coping with stress.
In modern economics, one of the most common raising trends is entrepreneurship. It can be said that entrepreneurship is the main foundation to economic development in both developed and developing countries. Nowadays, the empowerment of women, especially in Malaysia through entrepreneurial activities is essential for poverty alleviation and meaningful involvement in business growth. Also, the effective function of social capital will assist and encourage women entrepreneurs to make greater contributions to household income, which, when combined with other interventions to increase household well-being, translates into higher well-being for women and the potential to impact change. From that, this study aims to highlight and propose a model based on the role of social capital namely trust, norms and networking which will give impact toward business success among women entrepreneurs.

Also, financial management comprises one of several functional areas of management, but it is crucial to the success of any small business because it focuses primarily on the efficient administration of funds within the organization. The issues surrounding the financial management practices of the small medium enterprises (SMEs) sector have long garnered the attention and concern of researchers. Therefore, this study will discuss the elements of financial management practices (capital structure management, working capital management, financial reporting and analysis, capital budgeting management, and accounting information system) in influencing the business performance among SMEs in Malaysia.
