Bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa Internasional yang dipakai sebagai alat komunikasi di berbagai Negara di dunia. Negara-Negara yang menempatkan bahasa Inggris sebagai “mother tongue” atau bahasa pertama adalah mereka yang menguasai perdagangan, komunikasi, hokum, dan perekonomian internasional seperti Inggris, Amerika, Australia. Negara-negara lain seperti Belanda, Prancis, Jerman, Italia meskipun bahasa pertama bukan bahasa Inggris tetapi mereka menempatkan bahasa Iggris dalam kurikulum pendidikan. Melihat fenomena tersebut peneliti mengadakan workshop diskusi tentang posisi bahasa Inggris di Indonesia dan melatih para guru untuk membuat lembar kerja peserta didik. Hal tersebut bertujuan agar pengelolaan pengajaran bahasa Inggris menjadi lebih tertata dan terprogram. Tujuannya adalah agar guru dapat memahami tentang posisi bahasa Inggris sebagaibahasa kedua dan pembuatan LKPD. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Dari hasil workshop ternyata diketahui bahwa guru dan pendidik ternyata masih menggunakan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing.
Drugs is the term for narcotics, psychotropic substances and other dangerous. The term often used is DRUGS (Narcotics, Alcohol, Psychotropics and other addictive substances) Around us today, there are a lot of addictive substances that are negative and very harmful to the body. Known as narcotics and illegal drugs. In this sophisticated modern era, drugs have become a problem for mankind in various parts of the world. Drugs that can destroy bright reasoning destroy body and soul, inevitably can threaten the future of mankind. In life, a critical step of the neurodevelopmental process, drug abuse may be caused brain plasticity mechanisms that can induce long-lasting improvements in neural circuits and in the end, actions. One of the effects of these improvements is the disability. Cognitive functions, with negative academic effects on the acquisition of new information. Knowing those phenomena, the researcher had alternative therapy for increasing their cognitive functions. The researcher used writing as a therapy for them. The advantages of writing are immense, but they are also underestimated. Writing has profound therapeutic benefits. Writing is also a healthy brain exercise to activate brain cells and boost memory. This research conducted in Adult Prison in Blitar city, in which 15 drug prisoners were treated into writing theraphy. The result is they could write as well as the icreasing of their cognition.
It is widely known that teacher-centered learning still dominates the current teaching and learning practice. This practice leads to an ineffective learning process since the students are not optimally engaged in it. Additionally, the teachers’ challenge is growing due to the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.To address these challenges, this study developed a flipped classroom named the Plan, Flip, Assess, and Reflect (PFAR) model for teaching English at primary school. This model is able to transform the traditional learning into an interactive learning process by mixturing online and face-to-face learning. The PFAR model consists of four steps: 1) planning the lesson; 2) flipping the lesson; 3) assessing learning; and 4) reflecting upon learning. The steps in developing this model include 1) need analysis; 2) design and development; 3) validation and revision; 4) preliminary field test; 5) product revision; 6) main field test; and 7) final revision and dissemination. These processes lead to a production of the PFAR model. The result of validation revealed that the quality of the PFAR model was between good and excellent. They agreed that the PFAR model is beneficial for English teachers at primary school.The result of experiment also indicated that the PFAR model had a significant effect on the students’ English speaking skill. It significantly improved the students’ speaking skill. English teachers of primary school can directly adopt or adapt the PFAR model to create an effective and interactive learning process after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Skizofrenia merupakan penyakit disabilitas yang berfokus pada keterpecahan informasi pada otak. Perlu adanya treatment yang dilakukan untuk menyembuhkan penderita dari hendaya kognitif yang diderita. Melihat fenomena tersebut, peneliti merancang suatu aplikasi yang bernama Diary Skizofrenia Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Penderita Skizofrenia. Aplikasi tersebut berisi pertanyaan bacaan, melihat video, mendengarkan lagu, melengkapi kalimat rumpang, dan menata bangun ruang. Pengukuran yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan skala ScoRs (Schizophrenia cognitive Rating Scale). Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan alpha testing dan beta testing. Alpha testing dilakukan dengan pengujian black box dengan tingkat akurasi pengujian sebesar 76,19 %, sedangkan Beta testing dilakukan dengan pengujian terhadap ahli media dan dokter psikiater dengan hasil presentase masing-masing sebesar 45,45 %. Hasil Penerapan aplikasi yang diterapkan pada penderita Skizofrenia dari Posyanndu Desa Jajar Talun berbanding lurus dengan skala Scors yang diujikan. Abstract Skizophrenia is a disability disease that focuses on the dissage of information on the brain. There needs to be treatment done to cure sufferers of cognitive hendaya suffered. Looking at the phenomenon, researchers designed an app an application called Schizophrenia Diary to Improve the Ability of Schizophrenics. The app contains reading questions, viewing videos, listening to songs, completing sentences, and organizing space builds. Measurement is used using ScoRs (Schizophrenia cognitive Rating Scale). Application testing is done using alpha testing and beta testing. Alpha testing is done with black box testing with a test accuracy rate of 76,19 %, while Beta testing is done by testing media experts and psychiatrists with a percentage result of 45,45 %. The results of the application applied to schizophrenia sufferers from Posyanndu, Jajar Talun Village are directly proportional to the Scors scale tested.
