The current education process is hampered by the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic which requires education to be carried out online at home to cut the spread of the virus which will harm children, educators and education personnel. To anticipate this the need for community synergy to jointly find alternative movement solutions for education through home schools to optimize education in the new normal era. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of community synergy in the alternative movement of education through home schools. In the application process parents will not be burdened by the learning process of their children while at home because it will synergize with the teacher or tutor and also students as those who help in the application of the learning model of blended learning. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through literature review / literature review. The results of this research are clearly seen how the community synergy will take place without walking between parents and teachers, because in essence education is our shared responsibility.
Abstrak: Taman Bacaan Masyarakat adalah lembaga yang menyediakan bahan bacaan yang dapat diakses oleh berbagai lapisan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan, dan keterampilan agar tercipta masyarakat pembelajar sepanjang hayat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan Taman Bacaan Masyarakat yang dilakukan di beberapa negara berkembang dalam meningkatkan minat membaca masyarakat. Teori yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah teori pendidikan sepanjang hayat dan pengembangan perpustakaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode naratif kualitatif dengan teknik literatur review. Analisis data menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, verifi kasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun teknik analisis menggunakan aplikasi Atlas.ti 9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan taman bacaan masyarakat yang digunakan di beberapa negara berkembang termasuk di Indonesia memiliki kesamaan diantaranya menumbuhkan partisipasi masyarkat, menciptakan suasana inklusif, aman, lokasi yang mudah di akses, pustakawan yang ramah, kemitraan dan merancang program serta kegiatan promosi sesuai dengan budaya masyarakat sekitar. Selain itu, strategi yang menjadi ciri khas dari masing-masing negara seperti di Thailand menggunakan proyek membaca yang menyenangkan atau Reading for Pleasure (RfP), di Malaysia fokus pada pemuda sebagai sasaran dari pelayanan perpustakaan pedesaan yang dilengkapi fasilitas TIK, di beberapa negara Afrika menggunakan sumber terbuka untuk membuka bantuan dan donasi dalam penyediaan bahan bacaan dan pendirian perpustakaan komunitas, dan di Indonesia strategi yang digunakan sangat beragam menyesuaikan dengan kondisi dari masing-masing daerah. Penulis menyarankan untuk mendorong pendirian TBM di seluruh wilayah di Indonesia melalui kerjasama antara berbagai pihak baik pemerintah, pihak pengelola, dan masyarakat.Abstract: Taman Bacaan Masyarakat is an institution that provides reading materials that can be accessed by various levels of society to increase knowledge, abilities, and skills in order to create a lifelong learning community. This study aims to determine the strategy for developing Taman Bacaan Masyarakat carried out in several developing countries in increasing public interest in reading. The theory that constitutes this research is the theory of lifelong education and library development. The method used in this study is a qualitative narrative method with a literature review technique. Data analysis used data collection techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation, data collection, and drawing conclusions. The analysis technique uses the Atlas.ti 9 application. The results show that the strategy for developing community reading gardens used in several developing countries including Indonesia has in common to increase community participation, create an inclusive, safe atmosphere, easily accessible locations, friendly librarians, partnerships and design programs and promotional activities in accordance with the culture of the surrounding community. In addition, strategies that are characteristic of each country such as in Thailand using a reading fun project or Reading for Pleasure (RfP), in Malaysia focusing on youth as the target of rural library services equipped with ICT facilities, in some African countries using open sources to open assistance and donations in the provision of reading materials and community establishment, and the strategies used in Indonesia vary widely according to the conditions of each region. The author suggests encouraging the establishment of TBM in all regions in Indonesia through cooperation between various parties, including the government, management, and the community.
