SynopsisThe temperature dependence (at 323-443 K) of the zero-shear viscosity q of about 30 nonfractionated samples of an unsaturated polyester (300 < M, < 1500) was analyzed and the parameters of the Vogel equation describing the q(T) dependence were estimated. Their dependence on the molecular weight is discussed. The inherent friction factor per mainchain friction unit, t o , has been evaluated for 15 < Z , < 70 (where Z, is the number-average number of mainchain friction units) and compared with the values available for other polymers.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
