Would it be a Freudian conception of memory attached to the concept of identity or, on the contrary, would it be the questioning nucleus of any essence that establishes the human subjectivity? Historicizing and locating the concept of memory in Freud, starting from Ribot and Bergson, and going through approaches both from philosophers like Derrida and Lévinas and the post-Freudian Monique Schneider and P. Fédida, we show how is the identity notion on the psychoanalytical theory that ends up by needing to be rethought. Keywords: Memory, identity, identification, temporality, image.
AbstractThe constitution of the psychic individual suffers with the uprooting and loss of ancestors' history that characterizes black people in Brazil. The shattering of black identify leads black people to internalize the Ideal of the White Self. It is necessary to create narratives that allow for a symbolic presence of similar and different features. It is up to us to create a place for the downtrodden from exile, thus opening space for rescuing a native language.
