The contribution of organizational culture to the organization which includes the uniqueness of values, behavior, and psychology is needed by the organization. It also includes trust, experience, ways of thinking, and organizational expectations. Improving employee behavior into organizational citizenship behavior is needed by every organization. To bring OCB to employees, a well-formed commitment is needed. This study uses a quantitative approach to test 3 hypotheses using path analysis to see the role of mediation. Respondents numbered 169 in this study. The results found in this study are that mediators play a maximum role between organizational culture and OCB.
This survey aims to assess the effectiveness of Islamic organizational culture currently applied in a broadcasting company in Indonesia. This study will evaluate its strengths and weaknesses, as future developments and organizational changes references. To achieve this goal, data were collected from all 45 employees, using the Denison Organizational Culture Survey (DOCS). This survey measures cultural indexes incorporated into four organizational cultural traits that have been proven to sustain a strong influence on organizational effectiveness: involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission (Denison, 2014). The measurement results indicate that measured organizational culture has a greater focus on the internal aspects, like employee performance, than external aspects such as customer satisfaction and innovation. Furthermore, the Islamic organizational culture used, obtains quite optimal measurement results, at consistency and involvement trait which able to achieve scores at the third and fourth quartiles. However, organizations still need to optimize adaptability and mission traits, which scores only capable to achieve first and second quartiles. The lowest value obtained in the goals and objective index, also shows that organizations need to evaluate the clarity of short-term and long-term goals related to accomplishing the company's vision.
Attitude needs to be considered concerning violence against partners, because these variables, apart from playing a role in acts of violence, also play a role in determining victim responses, and community responses (Flood & Pease, 2009). One type of violence that occurs in couples but is still rarely discussed is violence during dating. The attitude of a person, both men and women in assessing violence in dating, tends to affect their love relationship, both currently being undertaken and those that will occur in the future (Medeiros & Strauss, 2006). The present study examined the differences in attitudes towards the phenomenon of violence based on gender. Subjects in this study was 110 college students, with spesification of 42 males and 68 females with an age range of 18-27 years, collected by convenience sampling. The results of hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney Test with sig 0.484 > 0.05 indicate no significant difference between male and female attitudes towards dating violence. The average score results of male and female is 2, which mean they generally do not agree with violence in dating. However, several male and female students in the medium dan high category indicate some of them tend to agree with violent behavior in dating. Furthermore, more study is needed to explore the reason behind this agreement, so stakeholders can implement a program to cultivate an attitude of empathy towards others, mutual respect, and obey the psychological code of ethics and in real life.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Team Training yang berjudul “Team Communication†yang sudah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal karyawan level manajerial di PT.X. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pre-test dan post-test group design. Sebanyak 24 (dua puluh empat) orang peserta berpartisipasi dalam team training. Seluruh peserta mengisi persoalan yang berkaitan dengan materi komunikasi interpersonal dan skala komunikasi interpersonal, sebelum (pre-test) dan setelah (post-test) team training dilakukan. Hasil pengukuran pemahaman materi komunikasi interpersonal menunjukkan team training dapat meningkatkan pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakannya team training secara signifikan (t = -5,900, p = 0,000<0,001). Adapun hasil pengukuran dari skala komunikasi interpersonal menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal peserta sebelum dan sesudah team training (t = -12,500, p = 0,000 < 0,001), sehingga dapat disimpulkan team training yang telah dilaksanakan efektif dalam meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal level manajerial PT X
