In this paper, a new model for image restoration under Poisson noise based on a high-order total bounded variation is proposed. Existence and uniqueness of its solution are proved. To find the global optimal solution of our strongly convex model, a split Bregman algorithm is introduced. Furthermore, a rigorous convergence theory of the proposed algorithm is established. Experimental results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method over the classic total bounded variation-based model.
This study aims to improve the impurity analysis by plasma electron spectroscopy for organic molecules. Because the appearance energies of the characteristic Penning electrons vary for different chemical compounds, various impurities can be registered simultaneously in one measurement. Herein, experimental studies were conducted on helium with alcohol vapor impurities in a nonlocal negative glow plasma of a short glow micro-discharge with an increase in pressure from 15 Torr to 150 Torr. Thus, the pressure could be increased to atmospheric pressure, eliminating the need for expensive and cumbersome gas pumping systems.
A novel method named HFACS-GRA-MFR is proposed to solve the problems of aviation safety management decision-making. First, HFACS model is established based on the actual aviation safety accidents. Furthermore, grey correlation analysis is used to analysis the influence degree of accident cause on aviation accidents, and five preventive measures are proposed. Finally, the optimal measures are obtained through multi-level fuzzy decision analysis. This paper provides a feasible solution for the follow-up study of aviation safety management decision.
In the process of image stitching, many problems will inevitably arise, such as misalignment, artifacts and local structure distortion in the overlapping regions. A parallax image stitching algorithm combining improved feature optimization with an innovative iterative seam estimation is proposed. First, the point features and line features of input images are detected. To optimize point features, the histogram statistical approach is proposed to remove false matching points combined with RANSAC algorithm. Second, the mesh warp is optimized by minimizing the sparse quadratic total energy function so as to achieve accurate alignment in the overlapping regions. Finally, we propose an iterative seam estimation method using an improved quality evaluation strategy. Experimental results show that our method has higher matching accuracy and visually better image stitching performance than other methods.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
